About this listing
Update: I will be out of the country from July 23-Aug 26, with some flexibility on both ends of the trip.
Just looking for communicative and respectful people who would like a quiet place to themselves in a lovely part of Brooklyn.
You'd also be taking care of my sweet cat Dolores, who is no trouble at all, so hopefully you're a fan of the felines (price discount hereby reflected -- food & water provided, naturally)!
The apt is a full one-bedroom, and can sleep two. There's also an air mattress if you have an extra guest. Lots of light during the day. A great, quiet place to get work done. Have at my books.
It's across the street from a new grocery store, around the corner from the little laundry, two minutes away from multiple coffee shops, bars, vintage, yoga, wine shops, and restaurants, including the infamous DOUGH, Scratch Bread, Bedford Hill, Do or Dine, Doris bar, Oaxaca Taqueria, Pilar Cuban Eatery, and more. Apartment is one of four floors on a brownstone block, with quiet neighbors. Safe, tree-lined neighborhood.
Bus (B52!) to Brooklyn Flea, Fort Greene Farmer's Market.
Equidistant to the C train at Franklin and G at Bedford-Nostrand (about 5-7 min walk). 30-45 minutes into Manhattan.
I'll respond to you as soon as I can if you drop a note telling me a bit about yourself. Many many thanks.
Interaction with Guests
I'd prefer to be here to meet you but can arrange key drop-off if I can't. You'll have the space to yourself.
Also, I'm interested in month-long stays, as stated above -- please inquire as to flexibility!

We could not have asked for a sweeter, more cozy and comfortable home to stay in! Corina has such a charming space with everything one could need! There are two subways stations within a short walk, great little bars and restaurants in the neighborhood and the block itself is very calm and quiet.
Our favorite perk of this home Dolores! What a sweet cat! She is very calm, affectionate and so nice to come home to.
Thank you for being such a great and thoughtful host, Corina! We would love to stay here again on our next trip back to Brooklyn!
Corinas apartment was absolutely lovely! My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend and couldn't have asked for a nicer place to stay. The apartment was very clean and tidy but so charming, cozy and welcoming! Corina left us fresh towels and linens and offered the use of her coffee maker and tv. She had a beautiful bunch of flowers on the table which brightened up the already cheery apartment even more. Her cat, Delores was a very sweet addition to the house. Very friendly and even a bit snuggly at times! The location of the apartment is great. Just a few blocks from transportation as well as some cafes and restaurants. Overall, a wonderful stay!
Corina was really great. We weren't able to meet her, but she arranged to have the keys left and sheets and towels prepped for us. She even told us to help ourselves to the roku and coffee (which we did), and food (which we didn't). The apartment was clean and very beautifully decorated and the area was really quiet at all times and felt safe. Dolores the cat was super easy to care for and extremely friendly. She was waiting for us at the door every time we came back which was nice. Overall the stay was awesome and helped us feel like real locals.
