Patrick was an amazing host, and the place was lovely. Thank you!
This is a good neighborhood and the apartment was in an excellent location. Patrick wasn't able to meet us but a friend did and he was friendly and helpful.
The apartment is small but nice.
What a lovely apartment in a great location in Paris. We were met on our arrival by Julien who showed us about the apartment and what we needed to know. From the apartment we were able to walk to many attractions or get on the Metro which was two blocks away. We loved the fact we could walk a couple of blocks and find streets filled with small restuarants and shops.
Yes, there was the stairs, but we had read the reviews and new what to expect, and we knew a delightful apartment awaited us at the end. Thanks Patrick for helping to make our stay in Paris unforgettable.
Patrick was great to work with and always responded very promptly. The apartment was amazing. It was very clean and was stocked with everything you need for a very comfortable stay. The location was perfect, it was in the heart of Paris and everything was within a few minutes walking distance. It was located near Notre Dame, the train station, and many restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a better location. We had an amazing trip and would definitely stay at Patrick's apartment when we return to Paris.
I booked Patrick's apartment for my mother and a friend to stay in May 2014. Though I never physically was there, communication and correspondence was excellent! I'm an interior designer and this was the best looking place out there in our price range. Beautiful design, furniture, shower, and vibe. He really did a fabulous job at capturing modern Parisian living. Photos matched reality!
When speaking to my mom about what she loved, she said, "to walk out of the apt and be just a block from the river was magical. The location is excellent if this is your first visit or, like me, visiting again after a 40 year hiatus." The only concern my mom had was the stairs which I knew going in. She managed just fine and said, "I got to burn off what I ate during the day!"
Don't hesitate booking with Patrick. He's a gem and so is his place!
Firstly Patrick's correspondence is second to none, his responsiveness is terrific. Secondly, although Patrick could not greet us, Julien was wonderful with his flexibility and service in welcoming us to the place.
Thirdly, the apartment itself sits on top of 101 unique Parisian stairs and it is worth every step - no matter how many times you're required to traverse per day. The cleanliness is top shelf; the location is perfect for walking to most of the key attractions; plenty of eating establishments a stones throw away; the bed is certainly comfortable enough (though a second pillow wouldn't go astray if I was picky); the TV is international although this was rarely switched on; and the Wi-Fi is super quick.
All in all, or visit to Paris was certainly made all the more pleasurable by the entire experience with Patrick and Co. and this apartment. Highly recommended, would stay here again without a second thought. Thanks Patrick!!
For exploring all the great museums, the art galleries, pubs, food shops and clothing stores, Patrick's apartment would be hard to beat! Also, for exploring father away, it is (email hidden). Michel-Notre Dame metro station (which is only two stops from Gare du Nord if you are arriving or departing by train). We found the apartment to be very clean, quiet, and comfortable though the bed is a small double. Patrick has a safe for your valuables. There is also a lockbox where you can store the key while out exploring so no need to worry about losing it! There is international TV for some British and American news in English. We appreciated the reliable, speedy WiFi as well.
Patrick's friend met us and told us everything we needed to know about the apartment (he speaks English extremely well) and even accommodated our baggage storage for part of the last day though it meant another trip for him to let us in for retrieval. I hope we will have the opportunity to stay at Patrick's apartment again some day!
