About this listing
Northcote is a great suburb to hang out, with easy access to the city. It is a great place to base yourself and discover the many delights that the inner suburbs of Melbourne hold for those travellers who like to checkout the local, rather than the tourist scene.
Our large house is situated in the popular suburb of Northcote.

I live with my partner Amanda and son Jimmy. We are always happy to entertain guests and introduce you to the local area. We also have a quiet and friendly dog called Sugar.
If just relaxing and doing your own thing is more to your liking then the room is secluded enough to enjoy some serenity whilst looking out onto a native garden with its own vegetable patch which you are more than welcome to use when fresh produce is in season.
The garden also has a shed that has been set up with old gramophones, turntables and radios and is a ideal area to relax and play music from an old vinyl record collection ranging from classical to punk, and much more in between. Feel free to use this space if a quiet night around a open fire is your way of relaxing after a hard day seeing the sights.
For the energetic, the Northcote Aquatic centre is two hundred metres away with heated indoor and outdoor pools as well as a gym, sauna, spa and tennis courts available.
Breakfast is provided every morning with toast, cereal and fruit and yoghurt available and there is always the possibility of a cooked breakfast at the weekends when hosts are around. Guests can help themselves to tea and coffee in the kitchen during their stay.
Guests have the use of a hairdryer and any toiletries sitting on the lowest shelf in bathroom cabinet for the duration of your visit.
Please feel free to contact me to ask any questions you may have before booking.
No smoking is allowed in the house/room.
Smokers are however welcome to smoke in the rear garden if they wish.
Breakfast will be laid out every morning unless we agree otherwise. Please tidy away your dishes when finished.
Its OK to come and go whatever the time but please try to be as quiet as possible if you are coming home after midnight.
Above all be friendly.
