Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in the car park behind the building.
The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge and around the corner on Middle Abbey Street. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.
The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is on our doorstep. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind the building at a cost of €15 per night.
Other Things to Note
Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.
Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we can expect people!
When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.
Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.
Nancy made us feel very welcome for our stay in Dublin, the apartment was as described - lots of space, good facilities and clean and comfy bedding and laundry.
Nancy was always really helpful with any questions and responded quickly to any phonescalls or texts.
The apartment itself is in a great location to explore the city and is a small walk from all the amenities, bars, pubs and cafés.
I wouldn't have any hesitation in recommending the apartments and Nancy to other users
Our 4 day stay in a 2 bedroom apartment was fantastic. Nancy was really friendly on our arrival, letting us check in early and helpful with local restaurant recommendations. The location is very central, close to everything, and a reasonably quiet neighbourhood. I’d stay again.
This Apartment was amazing! It was spacious and was exactly as it appears in the photos. It was very clean and had everything we needed. Nancy was very accommodating and helpful with arranging travel, information on the city, and keeping our luggage until check in (or until we needed to catch a flight). I would definitely recommend this spot...the space, size, cleanliness, and location were all great. It was in a perfect spot for me visiting Dublin for the first time. Everything you need is within walking distance. I can't wait to go back!
It was a lovely apartment, centrally located, as described in the ad. It is situated on a very busy street and can be a bit noisy at night, but luckily we were super tired and were asleep in no time. All in all, good place, close to high streets, the 'touristy' areas and easy transport access.
Everything as mentioned on airbnb (including pictures). Very well organized. We arrived late at night, which wasn't a problem since Nancy described everything very clearly.
The appartment was clean and warm (after turning on the heating) and quiet.
We were a group of 6 girls and happy there were two bathrooms.
It's a convenient place to stay and visit the city.
Nancy was a very welcoming host and gave us lots of tips on where to go and where to eat. The place itself was lovely. Clean, comfortable (the beds were a dream) and is accurately pictured. It is very central - just across the street from the shopping centres and a stones throw from Dublin's famous Temple Bar. Although check out was 11pm, Nancy was extremely accommodating and let us keep our bags in the complex while we did some Xmas shopping. Overall I highly recommend this place - would definitely stay here again!
Nancy proposes a very good journey with warm welcome.
The Apartment is well positioned and allows to enjoy Dublin.
I recommend it

My name is Nancy Foley and I am the manageress of Dublin 1 Apartments. Kevin, the owner, and I are fun-loving, easy going hosts who love having guests come stay at our self-catering holiday apartments in the very heart of Dublin's city centre. We even have a new recruit by the name of Rogue, you can see her in the picture there with me.
We have a great knowledge of the local area and can easily direct you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry. The nightlife in Dublin is lots of fun and simply cannot be missed! We often form a great relationship with our guests and have even been known to go out with them for a pint or two in the evening.
Come stay with us and see what all the fun is about!
