Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in the car park behind the building.
The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge and around the corner on Middle Abbey Street. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.
The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is on our doorstep. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind the building at a cost of €15 per night.
Other Things to Note
Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.
Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we can expect people!
When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.
Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.
The unit was perfectly located, only 100 metres from the Main Street ofDublin. Parking off street was available. The host was there to greet us when we arrived. Everything went very smoothly. The apartment was well appointed and more than matched the description.
Our group of 5 had a great stay at this apartment in Dublin. It was very spacious and clean. There were lots of choices for shopping and restaurants in the area, and a grocery store just down the street. The owners were very accommodating, and brought us a fan and a rack to dry our clothes after washing them. We all enjoyed staying here.
The apartment was very convenient to everything we wanted to see and do. Lots of restaurants just a block or two away!
Someone was right there when we arrived, and touched base with us several times during our stay to make sure that we had everything that we needed - recommending restaurants, arranging a taxi to take us back to the airport, etc.
The apartment is convenient, which also means that it is on a pretty busy and somewhat noisy street.
Perfect location! Very clean apartment, friendly hosts! They offer parking which is great!
We stayed in a fabulous unit in a great location. Nancy manages a number of rentals and I'm not sure our unit matched the photos on the website but it far exceeded our expectations. We were close to the Ha penny bridge in a newly remodeled apartment with a loft. The apartment had beautifully updated kitchen and bathrooms and plenty of space for our family. We did not actually meet Nancy but she was accommodating and easy to work with.
Nice 2 bedroom 3rd floor apartment with parking right out back. A double and single bed in each room, large living area and nice kitchen. A block from the river and all of the attractions on the other side. Hosts very helpful.
We had a very pleasant stay. Nancy and Kevin were very gracious and helpful. The apartment is very conveniently located with an easy 5 minute or less walk to Temple Bar. Numerous restaurants, shopping, and groceries are all within one block of the apartment. "Stunning" is not the word I would use to describe the apartment. I was expecting a more refined apartment based on the photos and description. The apartment was clean but carpets and furnishings are not as sparkling new as the photos suggest. The bathrooms are dated and could use a makeover. The kitchen has been upgraded. The beds were very comfortable but the bedrooms can be noisy from street traffic at night. Overall, the apartment is nice enough but it is an older building and not a luxury experience so be realistic regarding your expectations.
