Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in our car park.
The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge and around the corner on Middle Abbey Street. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.
The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is literally on the doorstep of the apartment building. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind our main building at a cost of €15 per night.
Other Things to Note
Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.
Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we guests are coming!
When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.
Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.
There is no smoking allowed in our apartments as it is illegal in Ireland. If a smell of smoke is detected upon check-out then you will lose your deposit.
Nice apartment very close to most of the sites in Dublin. Nancy was an excellent resource and delightful. I would be happy to return next time in Dublin.
We had a great time at this very conveniently located apartment. Nancy & Kevin were both great, although we were so busy we didn't see them as much as we'd have liked. We dropped our bags off early & Nancy then prepped the room for an early check-in. Fantastic! I highly recommend this apartment when visiting Dublin. Everything was exactly as described, and very clean.
Very good service! Very warm welcome on arrival to the apartment from the host (and friendly dog) and a speedy response on the emails beforehand (from Nancy). However the booking didn't appear to be in the book beforehand which made me slightly nervous before we were confirmed booked in (we did book with little notice though)
Fantastic location bang in the centre of Dublin by Temple Bar.
Great spot for one or two nights and comfortable beds.
Thanks for making us feel welcome!
Great location (one block to Temple Bar across the ha' penny bridge.) Very helpful hosts, we arrived early in the day, but they let us check in early. Downside is (not the hosts fault) it was very loud outside until 2am. Also the floors are noisy and someone above us was walking around from 3am to 4:30am.
We had a great time staying in this beautiful apartment building. It was close to everything and you definitely didn't need a car. 2 blocks to the river, 1 block to the Marks & Spencers, 3 blocks to Temple Bar area. Couldn't have asked for a better location. The flat was clean, had plenty of space for 3-4 people, had a nice shower and a washer, big windows overlooking the street. Nancy was super friendly and her sweet dog was even there to greet us! The only thing I would let future guests know is that there's a nightclub a few buildings down and it can get loud at night. If you're a hard sleeper like me, this place is perfect.

My name is Nancy Foley and I am the manageress of Dublin 1 Apartments. Kevin, the owner, and I are fun-loving, easy going hosts who love having guests come stay at our self-catering holiday apartments in the very heart of Dublin's city centre. We even have a new recruit by the name of Rogue, you can see her in the picture there with me.
We have a great knowledge of the local area and can easily direct you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry. The nightlife in Dublin is lots of fun and simply cannot be missed! We often form a great relationship with our guests and have even been known to go out with them for a pint or two in the evening.
Come stay with us and see what all the fun is about!
