Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in our car park behind the main building.
The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.
The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is only 10 m from the apartment. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind our main building at a cost of €15 per night.
Other Things to Note
Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.
Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we can expect people!
When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.
Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.
There is no smoking allowed in our apartments as it is illegal in Ireland. If a smell of smoke is detected upon check-out then you will lose your deposit.
The windows are great for people watching as Lower Liffey Street is the road that leads to Temple Bar.
Llits còmodes, aigua calenta, cuina equipada, WiFi...molt recomanable!
Moltes gràcies Nancy! Un plaer :)
Wonderfully friendly and accommodating hosts!
The location is absolutely unbeatable. Right in the heart of Dublin--a short walk to anything you would want to see.
The apartment is comfortable. But be aware that the hot water comes out HOT when first turned on--you only need to turn the faucet a tiny bit.
This was a great base for 6 of us to stay in Dublin. Again, amazing location and good value.
The host was really friendly. The apartment was lovely, clean and warm. The location was very central - very easy access to all the shops and attractions. We are very happy with our stay.
This apartment was fantastic, it's central location made exploring Dublin a breeze and it had all the space an amenities that our party of 6 needed. The apartment is in a secure building right by the river with a good selection of restaurants, takeaway stores and shopping close by.
Our host Nancy could not have been more helpful, upon arrival she took the time to show us all the workings of the apartment and gave us directions to important locations such as the local supermarkets. Nancy really made us feel at home,
Give this apartment a try if your staying in Dublin, you won't regret it.
Great location, easy walk to everything in Dublin, including our daytrip-excursion site. Kevin was a gem, helped with taxi to airport, local customs (i.e. tipping, "tips on sports"-thank you very much, and enjoyed sharing time with him). Sorry Nancy was under the weather and couldn't meet her. Nice accomodations, although be prepared that it is in busy area, so a bit noisy if you need quiet. Highly recommend. Wayne Herner
This location was so central to everything when it came to celebrating St. Patrick's Day, viewing all the sites in Dublin, and getting picked up for Paddy Wagon Tours out of the city as well! Transport from the Airport via Airlink stop #8 got me within a 3 minute walk of the flat. As for the flat, it was spacious and clean. The windows were not good at soundproofing the living room from street noises but the bedrooms were just fine. Also, the street on which the flat resides is quiet after about 2300. However, if it's festivities you want, all you have to do is cross the bridge and you're right in the Temple Bar district.
Nancy and Kevin were both extremely prompt with replies. Checking in and out was a breeze. I would love to stay again. Our crew of 6 was extremely happy with the place.

About the Host, Nancy
My name is Nancy Foley and I am the manageress of Dublin 1 Apartments. Kevin, the owner, and I are fun-loving, easy going hosts who love having guests come stay at our self-catering holiday apartments in the very heart of Dublin's city centre. We even have a new recruit by the name of Rogue, you can see her in the picture there with me.
We have a great knowledge of the local area and can easily direct you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry. The nightlife in Dublin is lots of fun and simply cannot be missed! We often form a great relationship with our guests and have even been known to go out with them for a pint or two in the evening.
Come stay with us and see what all the fun is about!
