Interaction with Guests
I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in the car park behind the building.
The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge and around the corner on Middle Abbey Street. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.
The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is on our doorstep. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind the building at a cost of €15 per night.
Other Things to Note
Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.
Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we can expect people!
When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.
Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.
There is no smoking allowed in our apartments as it is illegal in Ireland. If a smell of smoke is detected upon check-out then you will lose your deposit.
This apartment was large and the perfect location in Dublin's city center. We walked nearly everywhere or took the bus. It was close to shopping and plenty of restaurants. Nancy was great and greeted us upon arrival, showing us everything we needed to know for our stay. Overall, I would definitely stay here again!
There were three of us staying, and there was far more room than we actually needed. The space in the heart of a city was really nice to have!
Centrally located apartment perfect for our touring needs while in Dublin. Fit a family of 5 adults and one infant and it was very helpful to have a kitchen and the corner stores nearby. Easy walking distance to shops, pubs, and the luas to get to other attractions. Nancy and Kevin were very helpful.
It was a real pleasure to stay this 3 nights on the appartment. Nancy is really nice and available for us at any time. The location of the appartment is ideal, all of our weekend was perfect.
Absolutely wonderful! Room was just as great as described, with comfortable beds, and a power strip in the room. The multiple sets of keys were a joy, as the four people in our party all wanted to do different things during our stay.
We enjoyed our stay here. The owner and employees were very welcoming and had great communication with us about arrival directions. The location was probably our favorite thing about the flat, a 20 minute walk for all the main sights and attractions. The rooms were nice and looked like the pictures. The beds were moderately comfortable and a few lights were burnt out. Not a big deal to us because other lights worked in the same room and I know we could have gotten them changed out if we would have asked. One thing that wasn't mentioned,or that I didn't see mentioned, was that our room was on the third floor of some very long/steep stairs with no lift. Not a big deal, we just had a lot of luggage and my wife is pregnant, so would have been nice to know. When we were leaving we asked about buying a plug converter and they just gave us one to keep for the rest of our trip which was very nice. Over all it was a good price for a great location.
The apartment was as described! It is within walking distance to Temple Bar. There are tons of restaurants and stores nearby.

My name is Nancy Foley and I am the manageress of Dublin 1 Apartments. Kevin, the owner, and I are fun-loving, easy going hosts who love having guests come stay at our self-catering holiday apartments in the very heart of Dublin's city centre. We even have a new recruit by the name of Rogue, you can see her in the picture there with me.
We have a great knowledge of the local area and can easily direct you to the best places to eat, drink and be merry. The nightlife in Dublin is lots of fun and simply cannot be missed! We often form a great relationship with our guests and have even been known to go out with them for a pint or two in the evening.
Come stay with us and see what all the fun is about!
