This ideal location in the heart of Dublin's city centre will provide you with an excellent base for discovering the city on foot.

The apartment is situated on the first floor of a beautiful Georgian building without a lift and features a large living room with a double sofa-bed (for individual use) and a 32" television with cable channels. Don’t miss Murray’s pub with live music, great ambiance and typical Irish food!

An ideal place to stay in Dublin!

Guest Access

This is a private, self-contained apartment. The main front door is shared with four other apartments in the building and has its own private intercom system.

Interaction with Guests

I interact with my guests as much as possible! I don't reside in the listing but I do see my guests as much as I can, especially as my office is located out back in the car park behind the building.

The Neighborhood

The neighbourhood is vibrant, full of tourists, and is located just over the Ha'Penny Bridge and around the corner on Middle Abbey Street. There are pubs on every corner, restaurants everywhere and the pedestrian-only shopping district is only 100 m away.

Getting around

The main bus corridor on O'Connell St is only 200 m away and the tram line is on our doorstep. There is no need to even take public transport since everything is within a 20 minute walk! We also offer parking in our car park behind the building at a cost of €15 per night.

Other Things to Note

Check-in is from 3-5:30 pm. If your arrival time is outside of these hours then you *must* inform us so that we can make alternative arrangements for collection of the keys.

Please give us your approximate arrival time so that we can know when to expect you. It always helps to know when we can expect people!

When you arrive, please come to our main building at number 50 Middle Abbey Street for check-in. We are located directly opposite the main entrance to Arnotts department store, just look for the light green house with the orange door.

Ring the bell when you arrive; if I don't answer within a minute or two, just go next door to The Abbey Hotel and ask them to ring me.

  • We came in on St. Paddy's and took a bus into town from the airport. It was very easy to find with the detailed directions I was given. It was an excellent place to spend the night, being so centrally located. Highly recommended!

  • Thanks a lot! Like last time, I can only recommend Nancy and this place in the heart of Dublin.

  • Nancy, thank you very much for my great stay at your apartment! It is in a perfect central location in Dublin, walking distance to everywhere. Exactly as described and in the pictures, and there is even a bigger Samsung TV now! Mail communication with Nancy was fantastic, finally we met at the apartment and had a great personal chat. Thanks again!

  • Nancy alone deserves a whole star for her excellent communication, both before we arrived and during our stay! The place was as we expected - great location, within walking distance of most of the Dublin sites. The bus to/from the airport was only around the corner on O'Connell. The kitchen came in handy for preparing meals with our son. The only aspect that we found difficult was the noise. We could hear people in the street, the tram, people upstairs, and the street cleaner. Some ear plugs from Boots pretty much resolved the issue and our 18-month old son wasn't bothered by it too much, so it was fine.

  • Nancy was great at communication and was very knowledgeable about the area. She was more than willing to stop and chat with us about any questions that we had. The room was exactly what we needed and expected from the ad. Thanks, Nancy! Would recommend.

  • The apartment was anything but beautiful. It was clean and with all basic appliances, but old, with crude repairs, aging carpeting, most elemental furniture and minimally equipped with kitchenware (e.g., only three plates, a crumpled kitchen towel), skimpy towels for the shower.
The location is very good for access to points of interest. The neighborhood and the building are old and relatively in disrepair. Nancy was accommodating about all communications and about our time of arrival.
Once in Dublin, able to compare with other accommodations, we thought that it was overpriced for its size and condition.
