Located in a 17th century building in the famous 3rd district, this typical parisian apartment will welcome you during your stay in Paris. Conveniently located in the heart of Paris, the Marais quarter is just a short stroll from Place des Vosges, one of the oldest historical quarter of the capital. This is the ideal location to discover the sights near the banks of the Seine (Ile St Louis, Iles de la cité, Beaubourg, Notre Dame).
Plenty of restaurants and bistros around, convenient stores. The perfect place for a romantic or business trip in Paris.
The apartment is equiped with wifi, cable TV and free international calls to over 300 countries.
Free Wifi, towels and sheets are provided.
Le Marais is the closest you will get to the feel of medieval Paris and has more pre-revolutionary buildings and streets left intact than any other area in Paris. A glance at some of the beautiful buildings and houses indicates the wealthy status of the former residents. After the revolution, much of the area was abandoned by the rich, and poor bohemian types moved in. (almost the opposite of Soho in NY) . Today it is one of the trendiest area in Paris. It is also very busy during the fashion weeks due to all the designer showrooms taking over the galeries during the show.
Metro Filles du Calvaire, Art et Metiers , Temple
Perfect location! Plenty of space in a beautiful, old building. I would definitely recommend this apartment for those comfortable with a few flights of stairs :)
very good location and a truly parisian apartment with lots of paintings. Beny is very nice and helpful. We enjoyed our stay here.
Beny was an excellent host. The apartment was exactly as described and in a great location. I plan on trying to stay here again on my next trip to Paris. Communication was simple snd easy and I appreciate her personal desire for us to enjoy the city of Paris from her apartment.
My friend and I spent 4 1/2 glorious days in Paris thanks to this wonderful home away from home. The flat is huge, comfortable, sunny with a very large master bedroom/bathroom (including shower and jacuzzi!), the second bedroom was comfortable with it's own bathroom across the hallway. Art books, maps, history books, literature and more lined the shelves. The small kitchen worked perfectly for us to bring in breakfast items and enjoy a leisurely petite dejunner at home in bathrobes provided by the host. The flat is as described, in a perfect location for our needs: easy walk to main streets, Metro, the Seine, the Musee Picasso, Carnavalet, located in the historic Marais District, cafes, bistros, markets, shops of every description. Beny is a generous, kind and helpful host, meeting us upon arrival, giving us an orientation to all the particulars we needed to know and even helped arrange our taxi pick-up to the airport and train station on our day of departure. She was available by text, email and phone for any questions or problems (there were none). Everything in the flat is available for your use from dishes to towels to the washing machine. For our needs, being in a neighborhood of Paris was a far more enjoyable experience than being in a hotel. Around every corner there was something to explore. We would return to this flat in a heartbeat if returning to Paris and highly recommend both our host and the flat to anyone for a unique, comfy, spacious place to stay. My only regret is that we didn't have more time to enjoy both the flat and Paris.
This apartment is wonderful. The location is splendid and our host Madame Bery was the best. I would definitely recommend this apartment and I will return!
The apartment is exactly as shown in the photos. Beny was responsive to our needs. We didn't have toilet paper the first day but Beny was quick to apologise and showed up with chocolates the last day. We had a lot of luggage so carrying it up 3 flights of stairs was a challenge. Overall, its a cute vintage apartment in a great neighbourhood. Its super close to places like Frenchie, Breizh Cafe and lots of boutiques.
Her house was perfect. Too small and the decor was beautiful I had a good time staying at her house for a week. Heating is well thank you warm it was sent
