The room is located right in the heart of the picturesque coastal village of Manarola, in the Cinque Terre National Park, just a few steps away from the train station and the famous the "Via dell'Amore" and very close to the beach.
Elegantly renovated it comprises: a double bedroom with a cot on request, a huge reading room with period forniture and a very confortable sofabed, a terrace overlooking the village main street, a bathroom equipped with shower and hair dryer. The room is provided with all bedclothes, washclothes and a kettle to make coffee, tea or camomile.
I totally agree with the reviews here. Friendly host, nice room, convenient location. However, if you are a light sleeper be aware that the garbage truck in the morning can be a challenge.
The location is good, right across the way to the train station, and after hiking the beautiful hills of Cinque Terre, that is quite a comfort.
Franco greeted us with a welcoming glass of his tasty home-made Lemoncello.
We had two adjoining rooms, since there were four of us traveling together, with a shared bath.
Staying here felt like visiting an aunt/uncle, very familiar, very welcoming!
Thank you Roberta and Franco :-)
A small apartment enough for 2. Clean and functional, with some very eclectic bits of art, furniture and decor. It's really too small for 4, although it would be like playing squash. The place is super noisy from the public, having the bar literally underneath, as well as the loud TV from the owners who live immediately down the hall. Ear plugs are recommended.
Awesome place in an awesome location. Lots of room and excellent hosts! We were glad we stayed at least two nights and we should have stayed longer. That gave us plenty of time to hang out in Cinque Terre and hike the hills. Bring your swim suit because there are great places to swim. We would definitely stay here again next time.
this is the perfect apartment in the perfect village :)
clean, cozy, with balcony good to drink morning coffee and watch local people open their shops. the bakery is just below so we enjoyed wonderful smell of fresh croissants. the sea is just down the street, and for the ones who bring too heavy luggage on their vacation it's important to know that from the train station to the apartment there isn't stairs on the way which is very common case in those villages in Cinque Terre :)
the host was friendly and always smiling :)
all the best for the whole family!
Wonderful location as mentioned by many! If we are ever lucky enough to go back, I would stay there again in a heartbeat! Thanks for everything!
Franco and his wife were helpful and kind. The place is just amazing, great location, great value.
We had a great stay at Emiliano´s Cá de Capun, Painter room in Manarola. At arrival we met with Franco, the owner of the house. Franco was very nice and supportive. A true Italian gentleman. The room was perfect for me, my wife and our two kids. Clean and comfortable, with a nice balcony facing the main street of the village. In my opinion the room had a perfect location, close to the main street with shops and restaurants and to the tunnel leading to the railway station. We made daily trips by train (very quick and easy) to the other four villages. I think Manarola is the perfect place to stay if you are looking for a nice village with good restaurants, sun/bath and easy access to the other villages. If (when) we go here again i would be happy to stay at Cá de Capun in Manarola again. Definitely a gem!
Excellent apartment! Very nice and very clean! We felt at home from the moment we went in!... We definitely recommend it!... we were greeted by Marta who was very friendly through our stay. The apartment is in a great location very close to the beach and the train station! I do not hesitate to highly recommend Emiliano and Marta!
They are friendly and focused on customer satisfaction.
