Tredós is a small Aranes village located at 1348 metres above sea level, by the Garona River. It has a population of just over 100 inhabitants. Its outstanding location between Salardú (1 km. away) and the sky resort of Baqueira-Beret (3 kms. away) makes it very special. It is the ideal place for those who enjoy winter sports but also worth visiting in all other seasons. It is perfect for those who like hiking, fishing, playing golf or for those just looking for a bit of relaxation.
Tredós offers a wide variety of possibilities so that you can enjoy wonderful holidays at any time of the year. It is the perfect place to switch off from the city hassle. From the village there are beautiful trekking paths and routes to follow with your mountain bike.
In Salardú, about 1 km. from Tredós, you will find the “Golf Salardú Pitch & Putt” as well as a heated swimming pool complex which enjoys splendid views of the Aranesas Mountains. There are all sorts of shops, bars and restaurants too. From Salardú the villages of Unha and Bagergue can be easily reached. This last one is at the highest position in the whole of the Aran Valley and some of its restaurants as the village itself, are worth a visit.
Tredós is like the entrance door to the Aiguamóg’s Valley. If you go round the Aiguamóg Reservoir you will come to “Baños de Tredós” (at 1740 metres above sea level), which has sulphurous and sodium waters at 30 degrees centigrade. Walking along the shore, surrounded by trees and mountains, you will find the path that takes you to Colomers’ refuge. From here you can take one of the most important lakes walking routes in the Pyrenees.
Tredós can also be considered the Aranes entrance to the National Park of Aigüestortes towards the glacial cirque of Colomèrs. From Tredós, the “Baños de Tredós Spa” is within easy reach. As mentioned before, it has sulphurous and sodium waters at 30 degrees centigrade which were already known and used by the Romans for their therapeutic qualities. The Spa was restored a few years ago.
The village itself has a small shop, a nursery school, a bar and a restaurant. There are various types of accommodation, modern holiday houses and apartments for you to stay during your winter break.
There are also three small Romanesque churches and the Chapel of Virgen del Rosario by the bridge over the Garona River. It is a little rectangular shape chapel without apse and a small bell tower attached to the northern wall.
Simple yet spacious flat in a great location literally on the doorstep of the beach and easy access to shops and the old town- no beach or street views and small balcony looks into shared courtyard
This is a great apartment for 2 people, but will fit 4 with the very comfortable sleeper couch. Unfortunately it is a one bedroom and the sleeper is in the living area so if it's out and in use, there's no room to walk at all. Beautifully done, great bathroom, but NO HOOKS ANYWHERE! No hooks for wet towels in the bathroom, only outside on the small terrace (really small) and if it's raining, nothing will dry soon. If you need anything, someone will come within hours to help you (towels, pillows, etc.). This was the best service of any of the apartment rental services we used on our trip. Location was great, 10 minutes tops into the Old City. Also had a good supply of closet space and HANGERS, thank you, and not the crappy metal hangers you get from the cleaners or flimsy plastic one. WOOD! HOT WATER FOR DAYS AS WELL!
All in all, a great stay but be warned, if you have two small kids no problem, two adults, it's just too small...
Super appart, idéal pour aller surfer. Balcon pour poser les planches et maximum 5 minutes à pieds de la plage en portant les planches. Quartier vivant et sympa.
Amazing location, nice view & amenities, can't do much better than this place for the price you pay. Would definitely recommend.
Great apartment 3 blocks from the beach and a 10 minute walk to Parte Vieja where all the pintxo bars are. The apartment is quite spacious with a large living room and kitchen. The terrace is great. Juan and his coworkers were quick to respond to questions and requests. Definitely recommend this apartment
This apartment was just perfect for our group of 7. The rooms were very nicely styled - the pictures do them no justice! We also really appreciated having 3 bathrooms and showers.
The location was unbeatable, right in the old quarter near all the best pintxos and bars. It was also only a short walk from the ocean.
Juanra was the best host. He was in constant communication with us. He was so accommodating and told us about the best places to see and eat. Do not hesitate in booking this place, it will only make your experience of this gorgeous city even better.
My friends and I had a wonderful experience at Zurriola Terrace. Pictures were accurate and overnight parking was a quick 5-10 minute walk away. The bed was comfortable, the place was tidy, and the views we're stunning. If I find myself in San Sebastian again, I will surely stay here again!
Had a great experience at La Perla. We were a family of 4 who was traveling through Spain and we made a stop in San Sebastian. The apartment was in a great location 200 yards from the beach. Juan and the team were great with helping us get in and getting our car situated. We would definitely recommend to others who want to visit Donostia-San Sebastian.
Price is low considering its peak season in San Sebastián. Small bed could barely fit my husband and I so be prepared to lay very close to each other. Otherwise it's a clean place, hot water worked well. No AC, but a fan that circulates air well. The windows all face indoor corridors and you can hear everything your neighbors do or say. Place was good enough for a few days. Overall nice and hosts were nice.
Great place, exactly what it looks like in the photos. Is light and airy in the day, and super quiet for a good night's sleep. Host met us at the car park and showed us around the flat, giving us some great intel on things to do in the evening! Would come back again in a heartbeat
