More about 3036 Guesthouse
Four large, beautiful and quiet suites at the Nanjing E. Road Section 3, the center of Taipei. Each unit has a private bathroom with bathtub, air-conditioner, 32-inch TV, refrigerator, hair-dryer. An all-in-one washer-and-dryer is provided at the common area for all guests.
Nicely located at Taipei's business center where many hotels are also nearby, and only 2-min walk from the Nanjing E. Road MRT Station and Taipei Arena. It's easy to get to anywhere and no need to worry about expensive taxi fare goint out or coming back.
Excellent location, 3mins walk to shopping mall and food court. 5mins walk to MRT station and airport shuttle. 7-11 right across the building, but bcoz of that, it's a bit noise at mid-nite with ppl gathering at the doorway.
Spacious room, fairly clean. Of coz cannot compare with the hotels with star rating.
Common area is well equipped with daily appliances that you will need when traveling.
The host Yi-Wan is very nice and helpful.
Highly recommanded for budget travel.
My second stay at Yi-Wan's place :) definitely a great stay!
Didn't get the chance to meet her in person, but she is extremely helpful (as usual)
Same room, same cosy feeling♥
This time I tried the coffee shop on the alley behind, nice place to stay in and do some reading.
Next trip to Taiwan? Surely gonna stay here again! :)
Great room n location to stay!! The host Yi wan is very nice and friendly :)
Yi Wan was a friendly and helpful host from the moment I expressed interest in her listing. She gave me a few options via public transportation to get to her place and even offered to call a cab for me. I missed my connection flight to Taiwan so I didn't get in until past 2am. Her instructions were perfect and I had no problems accessing the apartment. Once I got in, I was surprised to find a key code lock on the door to my suite. That was great! No need for keys, no need to worry about duplicate keys and unauthorized entry. Her place is right down the street from the mrt station which will give you access to most parts of Taipei. We are about a 10-15 minute cab ride to Taipei 101 and surrounding areas so it's super convenient. There is a milk tea shop just downstairs from her apartment and is a must try. I suggest getting the condensed milk tea simply because they are no longer have that drink. Lol. Yi Wan checked in with me several times during my stay and even offered new sheets on case I wanted to change them (I did not, HA!) there is a washing machine in the apartment and a few snacks. There is a 7-11 across the street in case you have the late night munchies. Next time I'm in Taipei, I'll definitely be staying here again! Thanks Yi Wan!
The location is great, accessible and near the Xiaojudan (Small stadium). Opposite the road there is a pretty large 7-Eleven so it's very convenient to get drinks and snacks, or even to fill midnight cravings. The alley leading up to the apartment is right beside the Hotel Quote.
However, take note that in this area, none of the bars or restaurants open past 12 midnight or latest 1am. You'll have to go to other districts in Taipei for that.
This room is one of the few rooms in the apartment, but you get much privacy. Nobody knocked on my door or caused a ruckus in the living room, so it's good.
The apartment is located on the 2nd floor, serviced by an elevator. However, it seems the elevator doesn't go downwards. But you can use the stairs for that. Easy.
The host, Yiwan left the keys in a secret for me to pick up, so I don't have to meet with her just to get it, increasing my convenience to check in whenever. Oh and she's always accessible and very helpful, giving you tips on how to get there, what phone cards to get etc etc. She's also reachable via Whatsapp or Line. Thank you Yiwan!
/ Room is nice and cosy, with a sofa facing the TV and a coffee table. The TV might be a little small but I'm so spoiled by 55-60 inches so this is I guess pretty good. Local channels though!
/ Small alcove with a mid size fridge and kitchen sink, but no you can't cook in the alcove. Outside your room there is a common kitchen shared with the other rooms so you can use that instead.
/ Bathroom: is clean and swanky with a drop shower so it doubles as a small a bathtub. Soap and shampoo are provided for.
/ Bed: Contrary to other reviewers, the bed is not THAT hard! I myself sleep on memory foam but I find the bed pretty okay. Of course, your mileage might vary. However, it's missing bedside tables, so I had to put my glasses (spectacles) on the dressing ledge.
Will I return? Why, yes definitely! Thank you Yiwan! Would love to stay here again! OR, I'd love to try out your other listings when available!
Location: 5 stars, outstanding, nearby the mrt station and very convenient in the morning to eat good Taiwanese breakfast, food court at momos for lunch or dinner, lots of cute restaurants in the area, and a 7/11 across the street.
Service: yiwan had good directions for everything except for how we could initially get into the apartment. We arrived near midnight from the states and weren't sure how to enter the external apartment bc it wasn't in her directions. We lucked out that other airbnb people were there, had a phone for us borrow so we could call yiwan to ask about the external keys. Otherwise, service was great- she put towels for us since we stayed 3 nights, and having a washer dryer was a great perk.
Room itself: this room is dark and small. Slightly too small for me, my husband and our international luggage. Since it faces the inside alley, no direct sunlight gets into the place so it always felt dark and dank and slightly depressing. But other than that, it was clean, modern, and comfortable. I would recommend choosing the other rooms if you have a choice, since they are bigger and brighter.
Yi-Wan is really nice and helpful lady! I went to Taipei with my mom, and we (email hidden) on the second night, as we spent our first night in Beitou Hotspring hotel. I was running late to reach her place, as we decided to go for another round of hot spring bath LOL! the weather was just nice for hot spring! She asked us to take our time to enjoy it, just give her a call when we were done.
My mom is not used to cold, luckily the room comes with a heater (it's with the air-con) so, she (email hidden) throughout the night! And the bathroom comes with a tiny bath tube, just good for another hot spring bath (with hot spring sachets i bought from Watsons)
It's really convenient place to stay, 7-11 is just opposite us, and the next alley, there's tons of food stall and restaurants! And walking distance to Momo (or IKEA :p)
The location is extremely convenient! It's close to a subway station, and close to one of the main shopping area. Also there are 2 7-11 right in front of the building. The host gave me lots of great recommendations on my arrival day, she is very welcoming and nice! :)
