The Space

2672 Genoa is a cozy 3 bedroom/2 bath A-frame cabin in quiet forested neighborhood in South Lake Tahoe. It's a short drive to Heavenly, Sierra-at-Tahoe and Kirkwood Ski Resorts as well as world-class Restaurants, Casinos and Outlet Stores.

Within a few minutes, you can be relaxing on the Lake and Beaches in the surrounding areas, or checking out Horn blower Cruises, Golfing and other Outdoor Adventures around South Lake Tahoe.

The fully equipped eat-in kitchen has all the amenities of home, including a full-size refrigerator, stove, microwave, espresso machine/coffee maker, waffle maker, crock pot, toaster, plus cookware and dishes, so you can whip up your best recipes for the family. Towels and linens are provided for you, which means less things to pack for trip!

The cabin is available for as low as $175/night for Spring/Fall and $200/night in Summer/Winter for up to 10 people. That's less than $20/person per night. You can't find value like that at any of the hotels or motels in the area!

Got a pet? So do we. Very well behaved dogs less than 40 lbs are absolutely welcome, with additional deposit. (Sorry no cats... many of our guests have cat allergies).

  • Great for family with kids for a month! Plenty of room for additional families visiting on the weekends. Kid-friendly furnishings: not too ritzy, too new or too white, but not shabby either. Great location for shooting out of town to Kirkwood, still very convenient to Heavenly. Close to good food shopping. Nice neighbors! Big dining table was great for food prep, family meals and homework. Plenty of desks and lamps so everyone felt like they had their own little space they could set up. The local property manager was responsive and pleasant for the few little things we needed to call him about.

  • Christina was prompt and professional in her replies. Made our trip easy. House was clean, well-maintained and comfortable for two families with kids aged 12, 8, 7, 6. A couple minor fixture issues were addressed immediately despite being out of the country.

We would stay again for a quick stay.

  • We had a really nice stay in Tahoe! The house is very cozy and perfect for groups or families! With a car it's about 10 minutes to the village/casinos and the gondola! The house was really clean an equipped with everything you need to cook or to make breakfast...I would definitely go there again!

  • Christina was very helpful when I start e-mailing her. She is always fast on retruning my e-mail and that made me and my friends decided to stay at her cabin. We were three families with kids less than 2 years old. The cabon is the right size and offers enough space for each family to have our own room. We also utilized the kitchen a lot!

We enjoyed our stay very much during Chirstmas and will recommed her cabin to our friends!

  • Christina is a great host. She accommodated our booking on very short notice (Friday afternoon for check-in the next day), and was very friendly throughout. The house was extremely comfortable for our group and very convenient to local sites. The neighbors were great, too. I had an excellent experience here and I'm looking forward to returning soon.

  • My family and I had the pleasure of staying in Christina's cabin recently and we loved it, we had 9 people and we all fit and slept comfortably. It was just a short drive to the casinos, shops, and the lake! We all had such a nice time in the cabin, it was nice and peaceful. We hope that we can come back next year and rent the cabin again!

  • A couple family and friends and I stayed in this cozy cabin for a weekend to celebrate by birthday. The cabin its self was very clean and stocked with games. Every room was made and provided a towel for out stay. We enjoyed very much the use of the stove and fridge. The kitchen had all the necessities to cook and bake. We did however, found a few trash bags outside of the cabin that haven't been cleared when we arrived and we not able to connect to the wifi, two experiences I'm sure are very rare for others. I contacted Christina to inform her of the findings and she was very polite and prompt with her responses, We asked the property manager to take a look at the wifi, but he was unable to get it connected as well. I'm now the wifi is up and running. Overall, the cabin was the perfect place, both close to the casinos as well as the lake, to spend a great getaway to Tahoe.

Thanks again Christina, hope to book with you again in the future!
