PRIME LOCATION
Situated in a serene setting, but conveniently located just a short, scenic drive from downtown Abingdon, where you'll find great locally-owned restaurants, charming shops, and the historic Barter Theatre. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the proximity to the Virginia Creeper Trail, perfect for biking and adventures. The Watauga Trailhead is just 3 miles from the house. Nearby are Damascus (we love hosting Yeti runners!), Bristol, Emory and Henry and Grayson Highlands.
PET FRIENDLY: We welcome your furry family members! Our cabin is pet-friendly for well-behaved, housebroken dogs.
Accessibility: For our guests with limited mobility and needing to avoid stairs, our home offers a main-level bedroom conveniently located off the living area across from the bathroom. Easy entry from the driveway into the main level of the house. There is a small set of 3 steps leading into the main (middle) level of the house.
Stay Connected: For our guests who must work during their stay (we're sorry...), we have two work station options with a monitor and reliable wifi internet connection. If you have to work during your stay, you can at least make your co-workers jealous by showing them your view from your desk!

Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire home. There is a laundry room available for guest use. Guests can take advantage of the community boat launch area which is a 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk from the house. Fishing and swimming are allowed off the shore and there is a boat launch if you are bringing a lake toy.

Sorry, no motorcycles
The cabin is located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood setting and is a scenic 15 minute drive into town. Wake up to deer in the yard and sip your coffee while watching the sunrise above the lake. Ride the Virginia Creeper Trail, fish down by the lake, enjoy an afternoon at Abingdon Vineyards and dine at one of the many locally owned restaurants downtown. We are a short drive to Damascus and Bristol, so you can enjoy all of the events and conveniences that are nearby while having a quiet place to retreat to at the end of the day. The nearest skiing/tubing is about an hour away at Sugar and Beech Mountains. Whether you are looking for rest and relaxation or up for adventure, this cabin is the perfect home-base for your group.
