About This Listing
UPDATE: Now with WiFi (I just got it put in at the beginning of January 2013.), so you may surf to your heart's content!
My homey condo wants to host you. Located on Green Street, a lovely block in the Art Museum neighborhood, this one bedroom hardwood pied a terre serves as an easy base for exploring Philadelphia. Ten minute walk to the new Barnes Foundation, 12 to the Art Museum (live out your Rocky fantasies). 15-20 to Center City or the Schuylkill river (beautiful running for the aerobically-inclined among you).
And after you have stuffed yourself full of cheese steaks and taken in a show, return home and have a relaxing evening in front of the fireplace or grill on the roof deck upstairs and enjoy a beer while digging the view of Philly's wildly underrated skyline.
The street itself is quiet and peaceful, but very close to restaurants and bars aplenty, including St. Stephen's Green, a dynamite gastropub literally a 40 second walk away. So please come, stay in my digs, and see everything that Philly has to offer!
Smoking allowed on deck outside, but forbidden inside. Feel free to help yourself to any food in the house.
Tim is a great host! He's accommodating and responds quickly! His apartment is awesome and the rooftop has a great view of the city. I'd definitely come back!
Our stay at Tim's place was perfect! We were just town for the evening to go to a concert. We were able to walk to Union Transfer quickly and safely from Tim's apartment. There are also a few cool places to stop and grab food and drinks. Street parking was not the easiest to find, but that is to be expected in the city.
Thanks for a great experience, Tim!
This was a great apartment! Wonderful area with lots of amenities, and the apartment was clean and well-stocked. Tim was great about providing plenty of information for us and made the trip very easy.
Thank you for the perfect visit! This space is a lovely little haven, in a great part of town. Tim keeps the space clean and simple, with great furnishings and enough space to get comfortable for a trip to a new city. We loved the cleanliness, comfy bed, and stocked kitchen!
Great neighborhood for visiting Philadelphia. We walked to Whole Foods, walked to Union Transfer for amazing concerts, wandered uptown, and spent some time on the roof. Parking was a little bit congested, but worth the effort.
Tim was so easy to communicate with, and he clearly cares about his guests. It was comforting to know that my sister and I had an ally in the city.
I stayed a couple of nights at Tim's place. Tim was a great host, providing prompt replies and information about the area. The apartment was clean and quiet, and a great view from the rooftop. Also, has a washer and dryer. Thanks, Tim.

About the Host, Tim
I like stories, yoga, traveling, and long bike rides at night. When I think about summer camp, I smile. I am introverted, but not especially shy. I don't understand how Belgian wheat beer is in any way desirable. While a Snuggie may be one of the signs that we are well on the road to a Wall-E future, I embrace the former while decrying the latter.
