Such an absolutely wonderful and modern apartment in just about the most perfect location in Brooklyn. We had a blast and are so thankful to Camille for being such a great host.
Had a wonderful time staying here! It's in the perfect location, only a quick 5 minute walk from the subways. The place in on the ground floor, right off the main road. It's airy and spacious, perfect for a trip with my coworker to Brooklyn. The small outdoor area is a wonderful treat. It's dangerously close to many delicious restaurants as well (hello Chocolate Room!)
Camille kindly left us some of her museum passes as well. It was wonderful to get to run through the Moma for free!
Thumbs up on location and the place!
LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION
This apartment is perfectly located. Steps from Fifth Ave and all its shops, restaurants, coffee places, bars, nail salons, bagel stores, smoke shops, laundromats, numerous used clothing stores, boutiques, etc etc. Great people watching. Safe neighborhood. Steps to subway and Barclay center.
The apt was easy to access and all prepared by Camille. The building is newer construction with only two units. The apt is on ground floor with only about 8 steps up to front door.
The apt is well appointed. Small TV in main area and larger TV in the second, very small BR. Master BR had a great mattress. There are several newer high tech wall A/c's. They work well and are not at all noisy.Very special to have an outdoor space off the master BR.
Camille is a photographer and she has an interesting art collection. Bath was very clean and clean white towels provided.
Perfect for our stay. We didnt cook in the kitchen.
Remarkably, very easy to use the wifi with her code. Started right up !!
The only downside for some might be the family upstairs. the young children arise early and are VERY active !! That didnt bother us because we were up and out.
There is street parking available but it may take some hunting around.
Brooklyn is awesome !!!
We would definitely like to stay there again.
This is a beautiful, spacious and light-filled two rooms ++ space. It can be shared by up to 4 people although 2 is ideal if you want a lot of room and privacy. Everything is as described. The little space in the back is a wonderful respite from a busy city. The neighborhood is full of restaurants and specialty stores. It is at just the right level of gentrification where you can see some of the past as well.
I had a great stay at Camille's apartment. I love this section of Park Slope - everything is very convenient - great restaurants and coffee shops within walking distance and so many trains to choose from so it is really easy to get to almost any other neighborhood. The apartment itself was really nice - felt very safe and was clean and comfortable. I would definitely go back again.
Camillas place is very nice, artistic and cosy, full of intetesting art, still not too tidy and lux so that a family with kids can relax too. The little garden was nice to have pizza and a bier after hectic day in the city. The appartment is safe, even in 1th floor, but other bedroom (kids) got some nouie in from the street and (website hidden) worked well.
Park Slope/Prospect Heights is a great area, full of good cafes and restaurants, nice little shops and organic food. 5th Avenue is great, Brooklyn museum, Botanic garden and Prospect garden also close. Metro from Atlantic works well, do visit Dumbo and Brooklyn Bridge park too. Camilla was a good host, I hot replies quickly and she was really nice and flexible. We loved the visit in Brooklyn and NYC.
Perfect location if you are looking for a Park Slope exerience and still want to be close to City. Public transport galore at Atlantic Ave. Apartment was big enough for four of us. Lovely backyard garden which is a definite plus and highlight during summer. Prior to getting there I had a few questions for owner which were answered in no time. Very efficient and friendly service.
Wonderful, interesting apartment! Camille's apartment is sunny, comfortable and so artistic. The decor, artwork, and atmosphere made it all so fun to be there. Also, a little outdoor space is just what I needed to feel at home.
Camille's apartment is lovely! My family and I especially enjoyed the garden. It's a beautiful nestle in the heart of park slope, close to restaurants, Barclays Center, subways...
Camille was very responsive for any request I had. Everything was perfect!
Camille was great and the apartment cozy and very functional. Camille was always happy to answer our questions and accommodate our needs. We stayed during Hurricane Sandy so we had to communicate quite a bit in relation to possible power outages, etc. Even though she was travelling herself too she always responded to our calls and emails within minutes, which was very comforting. The apartment is very well located, steps away from the best restaurants in Brooklyn (farm, the chocolate room, etc) and from a supermarket and a subway station with lots of connections. We were able to walk to the stop where buses replacing subway services to Manhattan were leaving from, as hard as was being in NYC while Sandy took place, being at Camille's place made it a lot easier. Thank you Camille! We look forward to staying at your place again in the future.
