Please don’t message me with web addresses, e-mail addresses or telephone numbers if you wish to contact me, because AirBNB will remove them your message. Thank you!

Davis was a wonderful host! He will go out of his way to make your stay as pleasant as possible. He constantly checked with our plans and was very helpful. He also provided all amenities that we needed. The room was clean and has a lot of sunshine which we loved. :) Thanks again Davis!
Location is perfect. Bed was comfortable enough. Davis was friendly. Wifi worked fine.
. . . but . . .
Both the room and bathroom were a little gross. Not disgusting, not awful, but definitely little gross - I felt like I was back in my college apartment. The shower hadn't been cleaned (well, at least) in a long time. There was lots of dust in the bedroom. Nothing smelled particularly fresh or laundered. When I first arrived, there was a pretty strong (bad) odor in the room, but I didn't smell it the next day so it may have been from the open window (or I adjusted). It depends what you're comfortable with - I can imagine some people wouldn't notice the dust or grime, and others would find it much more objectionable than me. I have friends with grosser apartments, but they're not charging anyone to stay there. I'd anticipate more cleanliness and thoughtfulness, though, in even a cheap motel.
I also just found the overall vibe a little unpleasant, from the "push here to close door" sign in the bathroom to the passive-aggressive "welcome" note consisting entirely of an unnecessarily stern reminder about the check-out time, to to the broken IKEA chair and generally shoddy furniture, to the threadbare towel.
That being said, at least when I was visiting, it was cheaper than any hotel in the area. If you're not picky and are looking for a bed in a walkable location, this will do. If you want a nice place to stay, plan to spend any time there outside of sleeping, or are at all concerned about cleanliness, I'd opt for elsewhere.
Of course I always welcome feedback, but would have appreciated an opportunity to hear, or address these issues during the guest's stay, and that did not happen. Startling, as it is so different from reviews from many other guests. But I will certainly take a look at each issue raised here to be sure other guests do not have such reactions.
Davis' home was very accommodating. The space was a perfect size for two people and we had plenty of room to get comfortable with our luggage, clothes, and other items. He provided towels, shower supplies, snacks, and showed great consideration throughout the stay.
This listing was a short walk to downtown Palo Alto and is consequently in a fantastic area. Would definitely recommend staying here!
I enjoyed my stay at Davis' very much! The room is clean, spacious, and has everything I need. The apartment is perfectly located - only a few blocks away from downtown Palo Alto where all the restaurants are. Davis is a wonderful host. He's very kind, friendly, and he genuinely cares about if I had a great stay. Highly recommended!
I stayed at Davis' apartment with my friend for a week. Davis reached out and communicated frequently to make sure we were comfortable letting ourselves in, and made sure to provide detailed instructions about the room. We found the room as described, and the apartment was in a lovely neighborhood. Downtown Palo Alto is about a 5 minute walk away, which makes this location very convenient. Davis was always helpful and very responsiveness to our questions, and definitely made sure to do whatever he could to make our Airbnb experience the best it could be. I would not hesitate to stay here again!
Davis's apartment is a very clean and comfort place in the center of Palo Alto, within a short walking distance from everything located in the downtown of the city. The check-in and check-out are very easy. Davis doesn't even need to be home when it happens. He is a very friendly and he is willing to provide anything needed by his guest. I strongly recommend him and his place!
