  • This place is great! Like many others, I almost don't want to tell you how great it is so it can remain a secret and it will always be available when I want to stay here. ;)

First, Star and the rest of the team here are extremely nice and accommodating.

Second, you're in the middle of HAWAII in the RAINFOREST.

Third, I'm about to eat an orange I picked from the orchard, while playing with the cutest puppy in the world.

Fourth, I just watched two geckos on the ceiling get it on. Lizard love is a beautiful thing.

I could go on and on...

A few logistical tips to make your stay pleasant:

-If you don't have a car while you're here, rent a bike in Hilo. I've been able to get around very easily since getting the bike (and the buses have bike racks), but it was a bit tricky before I had a bike.

-Remember that it's rainy here, even though you're in Hawaii. Be prepared for that. But without rain, there's no rainforest or rainbows.

-This isn't the place for you if you absolutely hate bugs. Again, you're in the rainforest. There are some great smelling natural repellants in the natural food store in Pahoa.

Most of these tips and more can be found on the Yoga Oasis website.

    Thanks Star!! :)
