Parking is street parking which is always free and always available any time of day or night.

Die Wohnung von Jonathan ist sehr schön, hell und hat eine tolle, große Terasse.
Es war sehr angenehm, dort zu wohnen und die Gastgeber waren sehr sympatisch.
We stayed for 1.5 days in the apartment (3 people). Communication with Jonathan was quick and easy. In travel-related requests (check in, check out times) has been received to our full satisfaction. At the day of our arrival Barak was very helpful and always reachable, answering all our requests.
The equipment of the apartment is functional but very basic. The apartment in general is in greater need of renovation.
The neighborhood is close to Emek Refaim with a lot of shops, coffees and restaurants in a silent area.
I am happy you mention some positive things about my apartment. However, please look at the photos and description before you book, you can see it is an old apartment, and the price you got for staying there was amazing. Though the place is old, it is a unique experience in Jerusalem and many of my previous guests had an amazing time.
We had very nice contact with Jonathan, he responded always very fast and his friend Barak made our coming and going nice and easy. They provided us with extra bed sheets and towels as we were traveling with our baby. The apartment has a great location, very close to the rakevet park and to Emek Refaim. It is more on the basic side in terms of amenities, but very spacious and with two great and huge balconies to overlook Jerusalem. Free parking all around and a little store and Falafel places around the corner.
Jonathan's flat is in a great neighborhood just blocks away from many cafes and tasty restaurants! It is a large flat with lovely patio space with nice views of the neighborhood, but is a little shabby inside. Jonathan is a very attentive host who was available and responsive, even though he's not local. This would be a good place to stay for a few nights for travelers who want a good, basic landing pad for their explorations in and around Jerusalem.
Jonathan was an excellent, attentive and communicative host. The apartment was well equipped, with air conditioning in each of the rooms, so the place is well suited for even a group of four people sleeping separately. Upon noticing that one of the AC's didn't function, Jonathan responded promptly and sent his friend Barak to take care of the issue. Location is close to the German Colony with its cafés and restaurants and about a 15-20 min walk to the excellent Jerusalem Cinémathèque, which is well worth visiting. The city centre and the old city are about 15 mins bus ride away.
Worth mentioning separately is the magnificent terrace which is a fantastic place for having breakfast/lunch or finishing the day with a glass of wine. You don't necessarily even need a sunny day to appreciate it, as we were treated to that magnificent light show that is a thunderstorm.
We stayed in the apartment in April 2014. The apartment is spacious and in a good location near Emek Refaim and near the lovely walking path along the old railway lines through to the city centre. The aparment is very shabby and really needs redecorating. Our bed linen was completely worn out. We did not expect anything fancy and normally stay in rented apartments but this one needs a bit of tlc!
Communication with Jonathan was clear and easy and prompt. There is plenty of free parking by the apartment.

I'm Jonathan, I currently live in Dublin working for a very cool hi-tech company, but I travel all the time. I am also a host in Dublin and Jerusalem.
I love film and I used to be a high school film teacher. I care about animals and the environment, so I decided to be vegan. I enjoy sharing my house with other travelers, and meet people from new cultures. Please feel free to contact me with any questions about the place.
