Check In
  • We had a lovely stay at the apartment. It was really cosy and relaxing. Easy to get to from the airport and close to a supermarket, all the bars/restaurants and beaches of the town. Would definately recommend this to anyone.

  • We enjoyed to spend our holidays in Paola's flat. Everything was perfectly arranged; we got messages and information before our arrival. So it was easy to come and Paola's assistant helped us with the keys etc. The flat was just suitable for us, near for the centre, shops and beach. The balcony was nice; you'll see a piece of the sea from it. The equipment was good from all kind, for example the heater was necessary. So the apartment was pleasant also in the late evenings.

  • We really enjoyed our stay in Paola's apartment. It was very well suited for our family (three young kids including a baby) and had all the facilities we needed. The location is perfect, just of the boulevard with shops, restaurants and beach nearby. We didn't use the swimming pool (too cold in february...), but it looked nice. In short, we had a perfect holiday on Lanzarote, and I would fully recommend this apartment to other travellers, with or without children.

  • We booked a last minute winter break, arriving by car. The apartment is as it appears in the photographs. New, clean, fresh and bright. We had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay. There was a little confusion finding Daniele when we arrived - I ended up going out on the road and phoning him. I was standing right by him. Apparently he was waiting for a taxi to arrive. He doesn't speak English and we don't speak Spanish ( which I consider our own fault ). However, it would have been handy to know what he looks like...Also, when we left (at 5am ) I was concerned about what to do with the key. Some instructions would have been nice, as it was I had no need to worry.
Because it was January the pool was freezing. My grown up children tried for a few milliseconds each ( the second wondered why we were videoing her reaction). However, it was nice sunbathing round the pool in the afternoon when the sun shone. Most of the time we spent exploring the island. A hire car made this very easy. The roads were good with not too much traffic and we got around quite happily with a basic tourist map. We arrived out of the blue , with no preconceptions and very little knowledge of the island and were pleasantly surprised. There is plenty to do for at least a week, even in the winter, particularly if you are interested in volcanic landscape as I am. I also got seriously into the work of Cesar Manrique, who in my opinion is a true hero. Examples of his work pop up all around the island - it seemed that every time we saw something cool or something more than I would expect, it was some of his work. We did everything except visit the actual museum which houses his art work. We will have to come back. Because it was winter we didn't spend anytime on the beach. There are some very touristy villages, but we could see other less commercialised places to explore. You could explore by going on bus tours, but you would have to be seriously organised and wouldn't be able to see so much. It was very handy to be able to walk out of the apartment and have a vast choice of places to eat and drink, but hard to find anywhere serving the local cuisine. I still don't really know what that is - apart from the salty little catalan potatoes, with special sauce which are delicious ( if you like potaotes ). It was not very busy whilst we were here - lots of customers of a certain age. My student daughter found it hard to find anybody to talk to e.g. only one other girl in the nightclub on a Friday night...It certainly wasn't rowdy . All in all . Good value for money and a very enjoyable holiday.

  • Great, small, clean, and comfortable flat, central location, we enjoyed our stay and explored Lanzarote by car. Complex well maintained, overall we had nice experience, and would recommend.

  • We needed a last minute family get away - somewhere we could have a pool on our doorstep and a beach at the bottom of the road. Paola's apartment was exactly that. Puerto del Carmen is a bit touristy (picture tourist shops and english/irish bars, not a cultural center) but it's a very practical place to go on holiday. Everything is flat and in walking distance. We rented push bikes and a little trailer for our kids to go in. There is a cycle path that runs all the way to from the apartment along by Playa Grande to the old harbour, which is a lovely little ride. The nearest beach is literally at the bottom of the road (less than 5 minutes walk), which turned out to be our favourite.

My family is already talking about going again and we've only been back 24 hours.

Paola can provide baby stuff (cot, changing mat, baby bath etc) if you need it.

  • The apartment was beautifully decorated, just like in the pictures. It was centrally located but at night we had noticed nothing of the noise. A supermarket was nearby. On the large balcony you could have a lovely breakfast, the balcony is equipped with a sun protection. The other apartments in the area only had an umbrella on the balcony. The kitchen is adequately stocked. From the apartment there were only 20 steps to the pool. The pool was cleaned every morning. Within 5 minutes we were on the promenade and were able to eat delicious in over 20 restaurants. It is advisable to rent a car to explore the beautiful beaches and other places of lanzarote. The area of the apartments is secured by a door with code number.

We can absolutely recommend the apartment for an individual trip in lanzarote.

We thank Paola for great 2 weeks.

  • The apartment was lovely and nicely furnished - everything I needed for my stay. The small complex was also very quiet and perfect – a code allows you into the area so everything feels very secure. The beach front was a very short distance walk away as are a couple of supermarkets, so positionally the apartment was great. The balcony also has a sea view and nice for the late afternoon sun.

The apartment has a washing machine and everything you need.
I had a nice time cooking in as he restaurants in Lanzarote aren't really to my taste as I was just on a last minute grab for cheap sun.
I found Paola very responsive to all my queries and easily contactable. Also, as the pool was currently being maintained and unavailable for use, Paola was very happy to offer a very good discount on my stay. I also chose to have Danielle pick me up and he was very nice at showing me everything and greeting me for the apartment.

Thoroughly recommend staying here, the apartment outshines the island!

  • Very nice, clean and quiet place at a perfect location! Everything you need is at walking distance (shops, restaurants and beach) and a great pool is in your front garden!

  • Goed onderhouden accommodatie met dito interieur. Badkamer niet helemaal up to date. Schimmel aangetroffen in douche cabine. Appartement ligt zeer dichtbij boulevard. Zwembad ligt s middags in schaduw.
