The space
Guests feel instantly home in the Kalisto House bed'n breakfast, greeted with a splattering of CBD and cannabis inspired offerings to welcome the weary traveler. We welcome all and cater to those seeking a safe space to consume cannabis…providing education for those seeking a first time experience. All in a family and pet friendly environment encouraging responsible use. We are professionals happy to help craft your own customized experience!

To support you on getting the most out of your trip to St. Louis, we offer a concierge service to assist in creating your perfect stay as well as provide a light self-served breakfast with locally grown eggs, bagels and fruit. Upgrades are available.

While your stay is already an elevated experience beyond what you’d find in a typical AirBnB, we do offer added services with service & product offerings including access to our self serve cannabis bar called the "flower cabinet". We have massage & reiki therapist on deck ready to serve, as well award winning infused dining experiences.

We do also have special permission from our neighbor for private access to the hot tub and firepit as an add on (with prior approval). And now also have 3-4 person inflatable Salutub hottub accessed on the first floor balcony. Both of these are add-ons through the concierge.

The guesthouse is on the 2nd floor. The "Dining Room" is on the first floor and available to guests during ticketed special events, a Puff & Paint class, or a high dining experience. Guests receive discounted tickets.

Kalisto House guests also receive discounts at select local dispensaries and consumption lounges. Be sure to ask what's going on during your stay!

The quiet home is located off the famous S.Grand Blvd with a variety of St. Louis' best ethnic & vegan eats, boutiques and International Grocer right around the corner.

It is a 7 minute walk through the historic Tower Grove Heights to Tower Grove Park and 15 minute walk to the Saturday Tower Grove Farmer's Market and our favorite neighborhood corner store, Gustine's serving Shakespear's Pizza and Kombucha on tap.

We are a short Lyft to St. Louis' theater district including the Fabulous Fox Theater. And a short 10 minute drive to downtown St. Louis' City Museum and Riverfront Arch.

PARTIES??? While this is a 420 friendly home, it is also my family's home. We ONLY allow parties with prior permission and the purchase of the upgrade. Failure to do so will result in charges. But we do love a good time. So ask!

Guest access
Guests will receive a key for their private locked entrance to the 2nd floor from the front porch. There are 10 steps up to the porch. Guest's also have a private access to the backyard and basement laundry through side door access within the apartment.

Other things to note
The basement and backyard are communal spaces shared with the first floor tenant (and Kalisto House owner) who has a playful 8 year old and 2 beautiful cats that love to explore the neighborhood. We have had guests request the cats to stay in the house. So let me know! The backyard has a fire pit and hammock all welcome for guests to use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. The 8 year old is super friendly and may want to join for some play and often has a "rock shop" on the front porch on the weekends. :)

Neighborhood highlights

The historic and diverse Tower Grove Heights neighborhood is bordered by St. Louis' S. Grand district, Morgan Ford street, and Tower Grove Park next to the St. Louis Botanical Gardens. We are flush with cafes, restaurants, bars, boutiques and rainbow flags. There is always something happening within a pleasant walk. This is city residential. Great for walking and exploring.

Hi! I'm your hopeful host and friendly traveler, Sarah. I spent the last 15 years in the San Francisco Bay Area immersed in the epicenter of the cannabis medicine movement and have come home ready to share what I've learned. In all my places I've lived, I've always held a guest space. Sometimes even a furnished tipi in my backyard in Oakland! And guests have always enjoyed their visits. Now, a 10 year entrepreneur in cannabis, I have returned to my home town of St. Louis, Missouri and have launched a cannabis friendly guesthouse & AirBnB. It is called Kalisto House, named after the Greek Myth name (Callisto) of the Big Dipper. It is home to a constellation of stars. Part of the magic of this house is the concierge service where guests can upgrade to CBD infused gift baskets for bath & bedtime. Guests are encouraged to explore and I'm here to guide the way. As a full time working single mother involved in a variety of projects, I rarely get any free time, but when I do, it's usually walking through Tower Grove Park with my son in all the seasons.
