Great service from host. Good and safe location. Very small bathroom.

Response from Julian & Fernanda:
This is a very small apt, 362 SQ St, yes the bathroom is small. In order to avoid the bad smells is very important to take the garbage out, especially all the waste from the kitchen. The garbage shooter is located outside the apartment on the left side just five steps down the stairs. The WiFi is really given us a headache, we are talking with the company and nothing have been done jet. Thanks again. all feedback are welcome

You won't go wrong with this place. Ideal HQ to see the city. Taxis to center of city and to ritzy northern neighborhoods are both incredibly cheap, and it's only a few minutes' walk to La Séptima (Carrera 7), the main pedestrian thoroughfare downtown. Neighbourhood is known for its gourmet cuisine, which can be on the pricy side (by Colombian standards), but there's also a market a few blocks northwest of the apartment where you can find a fantastic almuerzo corrientazo for 7k, as well as most anything else you might need. Building is very secure. Fernanda was amazingly helpful. She helped arrange delivery of food and medicine when I was sick for a few days, and even invited me to stay with her family when the city was doing maintenance on the water lines. I'll never forget the warmth and hospitality they showed me. You won't meet kinder people, in Bogotá or elsewhere. I will definitely be staying with them during subsequent trips to Bogotá.

Julian and Fernanda's place in La Macarena was great! It was centrally located but also quiet. You can walk to central bogota and La Candelaria, but also easily get to northern communities as well. The place was well kept, clean, quiet and cozy. A perfect landing spot for a week in Bogota.

We cannot say enough GOOD things about this place. Julian and Fernanda put so much love into creating a fantastic space for guests! We happened to have colds and coughs when we were staying and the apartment guru, Ana, brought freshly picked flowers (Slippery Elm) for us to make tea and soothe our throats. AMAZING! We were super comfortable and had the best sleep we'd had in weeks. The apartment is on a quiet street, one street away from a plethora of shops and restaurants. So close to everything. This is the spot you want to stay in Bogotá. You will be happy you did!

This apartment is great, and basically the perfect spot for anyone visiting Bogotá. The apartment is right by a long stretch of cool restaurants and bars, close to museums, and despite the steep hills in la Macarena, it's all walkable nearby. The apartment itself was the perfect size for me and there's tons of light during the day. I have nothing bad to say about this place! I'd definitely book again.

Myself and my girlfriend loved the apartment. It was reasonably located with many near by restaurants, not to mention two blocks walking from the Colombian National Museum. A fantastic and well furnished apartment with kind hosts on hand to answer any questions and make the key exchanges very easy. I would definitely stay again.

Hey globetrotters!

This is kind of a joint profile for my sister Fernanda and I. We're both well-traveled and love meeting new people and can't wait to be your hosts. We''re both from Bogota, but lived in Vancouver for a good part of our lives. Currently I'm graduate school studying Media Management in New York, and Fernanda teaches English as a second language in Bogota, and lives with her husband and her two adorable children, Camilo and Carlos David.

We are currently offering our apartment in La Macarena, and while I do a lot of the airbnb account management, Fernanda takes care of our hosts on-site.

Some of our favorite things include eating delicious Indian food, playing tennis, going to gallery openings, and of course, traveling!
