You are invited to share my lovely 2/1 bungalow home located in a safe historic Riverside area of Jacksonville, Florida. The home is very pretty and relaxing by design. It's especially great for artists, writers, healers, and students. (An aside, I recently accepted a compliment from a friend who said that everything in it reminded him of Pinterest;) In addition, there is lots of natural light on the wooded property, and the shared bathroom is large. Also, nearby you will find shopping, restaurants, yoga studios, parks, and much more. I also have a bike that you are welcome to borrow if you would like.
NOTE: I PREFER LONGER TERM STAYS FROM A MONTH TO A YEAR. Other than that, 48 hour advance request notification and a minimum of a 2 night stay is appreciated.
Where the beds are concerned, the master bedroom in the rear of the house has a queen mattress that is medium-soft firmness to it. Also, the home is surrounded by many trees, birds, and squirrels. So, it is likely that you will hear them rustling about. There is even a train track in the distance that you may hear as well.
During your stay, you should expect to enjoy the comfort of sharing a charming home in a safe, low-key neighborhood near the hub of Jacksonville. Also, I am happy to point you to places to go nearby that suit your interests. (Be sure to check-out my Guidebook too.) Add, I work full-time and then some, and I am very respectful of your privacy while you stay. I hope that this gives you a sense of whether or not this is the kind of place you are looking for for a short or longer stay;)
My background: I am a free spirited, single, child-free creative information professional who loves to travel and enjoy the arts. In addition, I do not have pets of my own, however I do foster dogs and cats from time to time.
Technology Set-up: The house is currently running ATT's U-verse wireless internet and family package cable.

Mia was a great, fun hostess, and her place was welcoming, quiet and homey. The bed and room were very comfortable, so I really enjoyed my sleep while there. With great generosity, Mia went out of her way to make my stay all I hoped for. She showed me several of Jacksonville's hot spots, were there turned out to be good food and music every night of the week. She offered me several rides (I was there on bicycle) and even invited me to join up on a day trip to St. Augustine. Met as a guest, left as a friend. Would stay again for sure.
Mia's home is lovely, in an up and coming neighborhood of Jacksonville. The home is artfully decorated, very much representing the owner's artsy tastes. Convenient to other trendy neighborhoods and downtown. Mia is a lovely, friendly host. If you are lucky, she might even prepare some yummy shrimp and grits for you! Plus, Mia is an excellent guide to Jacksonville, particularly plugged in on the foodie front.
This was my first Airbnb experience and it was fantastic! I couldn't have asked for a better host. The only thing that was more comfortable then the house was the beautiful Mia's personality.. 10 outa 10 whoop!!
Mia is a lovely and friendly host and her home is wonderful and perfectly situated for great access to all that JAX has to offer. The bed was super comfy--loved the flannel sheets!
Mia is a gracious and thoughtful hostess. She went out of her way to make everything just perfect...a very interesting woman as well.
Her home is very clean, artistic and thoughtfully done. Don't miss the opportunity to stay here!

This was our first experience with Airbnb and Mia was/is the perfect host.
If you go to Jacksonville and area, this is the place to stay.
Mia was super accommodating and sweet. She made fresh coffee for us every morning and met our every need. Her house really does look like something outside of Pintrest.
wonderful, Mia was a very nice host. Her place was something out of Pinterest. Super comfortable bed. I wish we could have stayed longer, but work calls.
