Our stay with Mike and Laurie was great, they provided breakfast each morning with notes about suggestions and what is happening around Milwaukee. The room was spacious and comfortable and they have 3 very friendly cats :) thanks for having us to stay!
Mike and Laurie were great hosts with a lovely home! Everything was exactly as described, they had awesome suggestions of local restaurants/shopping and three sweet cats! Thanks guys!
Mike and Laurie were wonderful hosts. We enjoyed our time in Milwaukee and they helped to make it all the better. Their home is warm, nicely decorated, and cozy. They went the extra mile by providing us breakfast in the morning and taking the time to recommend fun things for us to do in the city. We would definitely stay with them again!!
We enjoyed our stay and were very comfortable. Mike and Laurie are very hospitable.
Great house, location, communication, and zero complaints. Cats are really friendly too! Would gladly stay again if I'm ever back...
Adorable home that matched our personalities and style. The cats were very friendly and nice to have around. The maps and recommendations for places to go and eat were very helpful. We enjoyed our stay very much. My only feedback is that it would have been nice to chat with the hosts a bit more but I understand sometimes schedules don't match up. It was also a bit odd that the bathroom door would not shut all of the way-- but it was never an issue.
Thank you for the kind review Amber and to hear you enjoyed the room and company wi hour kitties. Our apologies about the bathroom door not closing all the way, it does swell with humidity but we have made some adjustments to it and it now fully closes. Thanks again for your stay, it was nice to chat in the morning and to meet you and Sal. Wishing you both a happy summer, feel free to visit again anytime!
Mike and Laurie were extremely welcoming and their home was very cozy. I was very fond of their 3 cats!
Mike and Laurie helped me figure out how to get downtown by bus, which was very easy and quick. Their neighbourhood is very quiet and neighbourly. I would love to live there!
About the Host, Mike&Laurie
We love to travel and meet new people. In our daily lives we always try to remember the places we have been to and bring back a little piece of our travels to our home. We strive to give back to local communities, independent owners and support hostels and Airbnb. We have always wanted to start a hostel and being hosts through Airbnb allows us to fulfill our dream of creating a warm and friendly environment for guests coming to Milwaukee. We are avid bicycle riders, love food, trying out new restaurants around town, art, dancing, boat trips and swimming in the lake; we are also huge animal lovers and have a diverse knowledge of interesting things to do in Milwaukee. In our own city we try to create a feeling of being on vacation each time we go out and challenge ourselves with new experiences. We hope you have a fun and exciting time in Milwaukee and see all it has to offer!
