  • I stayed at Mark's Baker's Loft for three days and felt comfortable and happy. Breakfasts were delicious and generous. Mark immediately made me feel like family. I arrived on a Friday and enjoyed the evening of live music and pizza. Everyone I talked to was friendly and happy to be there. My room was cozy and perfect for reading and watching the rain. Austin Creek runs next to the Bakery, very nice for walks. The Bakery, open three days a week, also serves fresh sandwiches, wine, pizza, and salads so I always had good food available. I totally enjoyed my time at Mark and Elizabeth's and recommend them highly.

  • We arrived late, but it wasn't hard to find. Very private and peaceful. Plenty of room inside; it was cozy. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of coffee, fresh fruit, hard boiled eggs, some danishes, orange juice and oatmeal. If you left hungry it was your fault! :) Elizabeth made us feel very welcome and at home.

  • The bakers loft was clean and nicely set up! The breakfast they brought up was very tasty.... Wished we were there for pizza night.. I heard it's really good! Heads up about the area... There's no cell signal so prepare to "unplug" during your stay. We were dealing with some business back home so that made it a bit difficult. Other than that it's a great area!

  • I have been a host for over 80 AirBnb guests, however this was my FIRST AirBnb experience as a guest (and my beau's) and it could not have been better! I booked this just a few days in advance, and Mark and his wife were very communicative, polite and kind. They are not only talented swing dancers and loving parents, but also and own and operate a B&B and local bakery which serves delicious fresh roasted fair trade coffee and the most scrumptious pastries (Apricot Coconut Bar and Brownies were 2 of our faves!) as well as freshly baked breads that are to die for!

Mark's personality and kindness was worth the trip, and his Baker's Loft is clean and tidy and just right for a single guest or a couple. It was a dark and rainy night off-season, and as luck would have it Mark upgraded us to the cottage which was delightful! A wood burning stove, comfy bed, very clean and just right for our romantic getaway. Geyserville has many wineries and scenic vistas. We dined at Applewood for a 4 course gourmet dinner (about 20 minutes away).

Breakfast included that yummy coffee, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and pastries!! He also recommended we drive back to San Francisco along the coast, which was so much more scenic and romantic than getting stuck on the 101 North.

We appreciate the amazing hospitality and can't wait to return to this special spot for another getaway!

  • Cadazero? Where's that? That's the first question you'll ask yourself. Once you realise it's a drive that takes you through the beautiful Russian River wine country, is only a few miles west of Guerneville, and is home to Raymond's Bakery and Bed & Breakfast, you will agree that the trip is well worth the drive.

We arrived in the early evening and were treated to glass of wine, and wonderful conversation with Mark, Elizabeth his wife, two other guests and, more importantly entertainment provided by their 3 children. All around an open pit fire. Needless to say, our stay started off on the right foot.

We stayed in the Baker's Loft which is located above the bakery. The room was perfect with an extremely comfortable bed, a mini refrigerator, a small sofa, all with plenty of room to move around. Although there wasn't a bathtub, the bathroom had a large shower and, more importantly, was very clean.

Breakfast, served in the bakery, was a selection of delicious and tempting pastries, yogurt, fruit and boiled eggs accompanied by either tea or (very strong) coffee. While eating breakfast, like us, you'll spend you time debating which and how many of the other pastries and breads you'll want to take home!

We've already started planning our next visit! Thanks, Mark and Elizabeth.

  • Never heard of or been to Cazadero? Second-guess no longer!

Our experience at the Baker's Loft was amazing. Mark and Elizabeth were incredibly welcoming and were two of the nicest people we've met. The community they've built around Raymond's Bakery is spectacular. We arrived to live music, indulged in delicious pizza, and witnessed some of the best swing dancing we've ever seen (Mark and Elizabeth had some serious moves, as well as the patrons!). It was difficult not to have a great time.

The loft was spacious and was everything you'd hope for. It was perfect after a night of (unintentional) drinking, was nice and cozy, and had all the amenities you'd need. We were certainly impressed.

In the morning we slept in by accident, but had one of the best night's sleep we'd had in a while. We walked downstairs to the bakery and were greeted with a breakfast platter... again, incredible. If it wasn't enough for the food to be delicious, the staff was also very friendly and helpful.

I really couldn't recommend this place enough. I'm already looking forward to the next opportunity I'll have to stay here, or at least run into Mark and Elizabeth at one of the local farmer's markets to try out some of their insanely delicious pastries!

  • This was a lovely place to stay! We especially loved the campfire in the back and the pastries in the morning.

  • Fabulous little getaway in the woods. Wonderful kind generous hosts and community!

  • This place is warm and welcoming. The cottages are very cute, comfortable, and clean. We drove in from the coast and did a quick day trip to Armstrong Woods before settling into Raymond's Bakery and B&B. We were actually upgraded to the Gravenstein Cottage because they were hosting a bakery "apprentice" in the baker's loft.
Mark is very friendly and really made us feel at home. He grilled pizza for us as a late-evening snack and we sat around on the deck talking with a family who was staying in another cottage. In the morning, Mark offered to show us his bread-making skills and allowed us to make our own dough which turned into a fantastic breakfast along with muffins, eggs, and delicious coffee. I would come to Raymond's just for the food but would definitely stay here again. If you're looking for a relaxed atmosphere and some peace and quiet, this is the place.

  • Had a wonderful stay at Raymond's bakery Bed and Breakfast!
Mark and Elizabeth are the best hosts ever we have met. This may sound repetitive after reading all other reviews on airbnb or Yelp, but yes it is true :)
Dont forget to try the walnut tart and the raspberry squares at the bakery. We will come back again very soon!

About
Nine years ago my wife and I fell in love with an abandoned restaurant with four tired cottages on three acres of wild blackberries and old growth redwoods on Austin Creek. It has been an exhausting/exhilarating labor of love that has enriched our lives in more ways than we ever imagined. We hope that you will enjoy it as much as we have!
