charming, yessss. private, indeed!!! Justin was pleasant and remotely responsive as a host could be. the ease of my check-in or reception gave my overall experience that 5th star. though there's no microwave, there plenty of eateries just around the corner. Oh, Justin....awesome redbull "fridge"/cooler!!! this cooler kept my beverages chilled and cold. This unit is located in the heart of everything LA. highly recommend it . bang for ur buck, for sure.
"+" : location, price, parking, clean place
"-" : cold, really hot shower, no kitchen, no microwave
4 of 5. Because service was better than apartment. I came at 1:00am and got keys for move in, and later extend it without any problems.
The place is really nice,, unfortunately it does not have a kitchen.
The apartment was easy and convenient and exactly as described. Thanks, Justin.
A solid choice. I'd stayed here before and didn't realize there was no longer access to the kitchen, which was a bummer; there is a mini-fridge which is useful, but it is brightly lit which can be annoying at night. Clean sheets and towels were there, but the previous guests' towels were also left. The neighborhood is lovely and residential, great to walk around.
Great little place with a perfect location right off SM Blvd and the 405. Couldn't have been easier. Thanks Justin!
Great, clean, and awesome location for a studio.
It is a charming place indeed. The studio was and had all we needed. Private, although you have two doors that are shared with other spaces in the building and a few times we did hear people, but not all the time. Anyhow, It was a nice community within walking distance to UCLA and super close to a bus stop in Santa Monica Ave. We did not have a car and managed to get around town by bus without any problems. Justin was really flexible with our check-in and check-out time, which was very convenient for us. We had a great time!
The place was clean and cozy. Justin was available via text and phone. I had a great time there. Will come back for sure.
The studio room was obviously in a house that was a bit older, but well maintained. Everything was clean and the neighborhood was quiet. It was close enough to Westwood to walk for some dinner, but far enough away that you didn't have to deal with constant chatter from students to and from their classes.
Two points of difficulty were the parking situation (you can park on the street, but finding a space can be difficult and there's regular street cleaning on Thursdays and Fridays that mean you either have to go out or move your car down the block) and the seating in the studio was a bit lackluster. My husband and I were both there and, while there are two seats, one is just a plastic fold out. It meant that often one of us would be on the bed while the other was in the more comfortable chair (while we were in the apartment).
All in all, our trip was pleasant, the room met our needs and was a fantastic price for the area (excusing any difficulty the above two points may have caused), and Justin was considerate in our conversations with him. I would consider this place again if I find my way back to the Westwood area.
