Overall Guest Satisfaction

  • We stayed for seven weeks at Adriana's lovely apartment, and it was absolutely perfect. It is very, very well located for all the main spots in Amsterdam, with nothing more than a short cycle away (with adequate space outside to lock up your bikes when you get back). And the place is equally as good for working from home, which we did regularly, distracted by the view of the windmill, the bustling cafes and bars, and the canal with all manner of water birds. I cannot see how this view could be bettered- it just about crams everything you'd want into one window. By the time we left, the apartment felt very homely, and we were sad to be leaving, and hopeful that we'll return again sometime soon. Adriana is very friendly and helpful, and clearly takes a lot of pride in renting out the apartment. She was always contactable and kept in regular communication throughout booking and during the stay. This apartment comes highly recommended for anyone looking for either short or long stays in Amsterdam for pleasure, business or research- we wouldn't think twice about taking the opportunity to come and stay again. Thanks!

  • We really enjoyed our time at Adriana's. Wonderful neighbourhood, comfortable apartment with great views, and Adriana was a very kind and helpful host.

  • Nice small apartment with great view. Bathroom is a bit small and shower is not very comfortable. Location is good, very cosy district.

  • The apartment has everything you need for a short/holiday stay, and in a area easy to get to by public transport. I will recommend it, and definitely see if it is available next time I go to A'dam.

  • I stayed here with my two girlfriends in early November. We really enjoyed our stay and couldn't rate the place more highly. The apartment is clean and warm. It is well located next to public transport and a supermarket and is within walking distance of some bars and restaurants. The view of the windmill is good too. Great place to stay!

  • We stayed at the windmill apartment for one month and can recommend it to anyone planning to visit Amsterdam. The place conviently equipped and the location is great; there's all kinds of lovely typical Amsterdam stuff nearby and the touristic highlights can easily be reached by public transport. Adriana is a thoughtful host and can easily be reached.
Don't forget to visit the windmill brewery; they sell the best beer in town. We are locals and needed a place to stay during a move, so our recommendation is sort of straight from the Amsterdam horse's mouth.

  • Adriana's apartment is so well located that it is easy to walk practically anywhere. It is also well connected by bus and tram.
The view is to a mill, this is unique. The mill has a brewery and people come from afar to taste the beer. The splendid Dappermarkt is just a three minute walk and represents the many ethnicities living in the area. Supermarket is close by too. The apartment is practical, it has all you need for a comfortable stay. One warning, be aware of the very steep traditional stairs. We had a very good stay in the apartment.

  • I did stay at Adrianas apartment for 7 weeks and can say: great location! You have everything you need around the corner and also in the apartment. But one thing - the bathroom is extremely small...
It is easy to communicate with Adriana and she is very nice!
I would recommend the apartment for visits to Amsterdam!

  • The windmill apartment was a lovely place to stay in Amsterdam. The view is spectacular, public transportation is very close and convenient. We were masters of Bus 22 and Tram 10 after our 7 days! Apartment was very clean, and it was very nice to have a kitchen. We were able to save some money because of the supermarket right down the street! The only thing that was slightly annoying was the construction going on in the flat next to this one-- But that was only on weekday mornings about 8 am. I'm sure it will be finished soon.

Overall, this apartment was perfect for our visit to Amsterdam and we highly recommend it to anyone visiting. We will try to be back soon!

  • Clean apartment with a really nice view.
Adriana replied fast to my email and she also give me good suggestions for restaurant and other stuff.
You really need to have a breakfast to the restaurant Langedijk close to the apartment!

The bathroom is small but the apartment is big enough for a couple.

    I recommend this apartment.
