My husband and I have created this space that is our home. It's full of a Love, Laughter, Joy and Peace that is uniquely ours. We invite you to come share it with us.
We really appreciate that you chose to stay in our home. We only ask that you treat it as you'd treat your own. No smoking indoors, pets, parties or loud noises. Please be considerate of our neighbors -- we've know them for years and they are all very nice people.
We arrived rather late at Audreys place, around 1 am. but Audreys husband, Delroy were there to welcome us as Audrey had to get up early for work. Delroy was very nice and welcoming and showed us all we needed to know and gave us the key for the house. Then we were showed to our room which was very nice and comfortable with plenty of space for the two of us. We stayed for 6 nights as we was visiting friends in the area, so we didn't spend much time at the house, however the chats we had to Audrey and Delroy was very nice and we felt very much at home. We had the full upper floor to ourselves and a bathroom was available just next to our room. The house was very neat and clean and the bed good and large.
We didn't spend much time i the area and had rented a car so we can't really tell about public transportation to Philadelphia. Downtown philly is about a 20 min. drive from there if you rely on your GPS at least :)
All in all we had a wonderful stay with Audrey and Delroy and can only recommend it to others!
Audrey and her husband were very kind and accommodating. They made us feel comfortable. We were there for the Philadelphia Rock & Roll half marathon which was about 15 minutes away. Very good location. The parking was rough after 10 PM because it's side street parking but we did find spots open before that time without fault.
I really liked staying at Audreys place. The room was elegant indeed and I had a kingsized bed all to myself. The whole house is very clean and I had a fridge all for myself.
Audrey and her husband were very polite and nice to me, showed me all the necessary things and totally let me do my thing.
For all the people who do not own a car; the bus stop is a five minute walk from the house, so its no problem to get to the city.
Pessoas doces e carinhosas, casa tranquila, familiar e muito corfortável. RECOMENDO MUITO!
Audry house is amazing, the room is bigger and fancy looks like a hotel room. audry is a great host, is a good place with good people, higher recommend.
Audrey was a wonderful host. On some of the colder nights, she offered to turn the heat higher if i felt uncimfortable, which was very thoughtful. The room was very clean and peaceful. There was some construction going on in front of her house, but it looks like the majority of the work has passed. Location is amazing, being only a 5 minute bus ride to the train station (20 minute walk if you return after the busses stop running) and another 25 minutes to historic Philadelphia. The only thing I can think to mention is that if you have a strong hatred for scented candles, you may want to speak with Audrey first. It wasn't over-the-top, but it did take me a few hours to get used to it.
