About this listing
*** I am moving this listing to another account and not accepting bookings after July 15th, see "Private Floor in Potrero Hill"
It's the same space, same reviews, but Airbnb doesn't allow us to move it directly.
This space is a full floor in a Potrero Hill home at the Mission/Potrero border, one of the sunniest places in San Francisco. Your private unit consists of: a nook with a full bed, a separate bedroom with a memory foam queen bed and closet, bathroom with shower, washer/dryer, a living room and dining area, and a small kitchen. Lots of windows fill the space with light and provide gorgeous views of the city. Can sleep 4 in beds and 2 more on an air mattress if needed. Plenty of space to hang out, sleep, and prepare a meal. Outside of your door is a path to our beautiful back garden and deck. There is a separate entrance to the unit for privacy. We live upstairs, and are happy to have you up on our floor to visit and enjoy the views. We can accommodate you with sight-seeing tips, restaurant advice, and transportation questions. Longer rentals can also be arranged on request. Clean high quality linens and towels are provided.
** If you are looking for a short term rental and we have less than 4 days available in our calendar, feel free to inquire.
Walk over to shops and restaurants on Potrero Hill like Whole Foods, Chez Maman and Skool, or down to Mission Creek to Coffee Bar, Trick Dog, Universal Cafe, and the Mission/24th St corridor.
**Parking is easy- plenty of street parking, which is only permitted Mon-Fri. We ask that you or your guests do not park in our driveway- it is a reserved space. If you are here during the day during the week, we recommend San Bruno, one street over, which has unlimited unzoned parking.
*** Important- please include the number and the age of any guests under 18 in your booking request. Total number of guests is total number of people, regardless of age.
Parking- please read if you are bringing a car- Yes, there is easy street parking. Almost all of our guests have a car, and you can park on our street for two hours Mon-Fri daytime, or unlimited on evenings and weekends. If our guests want to leave their car for long periods, they park one block over, on San Bruno, where there is unlimited free parking.

If you are late checking out and as a result, the cleaning person cannot begin on time, we will charge you by the hour to pay the cleaning person for their extra time. A beautiful apartment with a magic view over the hills of San Fransisco and a lot of space for 4 persons. Better in real life than on pictures. Clean and comfortable. A bottle of wine and some good cheese were in the fridge when we arrived - a little but present surprise. We did enjoy a lot our stay there!
We stayed for 4 nights in Laura's place and we really enjoyed it. Nice rooms, plenty of space, very quiet, clean and a wonderful view from the living room... Parking also was easy.
Access to public traffic was good and you also find a lot of great places for breakfast and dinner in the mission district. Check out Atlas Coffee and Progressive Grounds for breakfast and you definitely have to go to Burma Love. Very short Uber trip or just walk there...
We definitely would recommend Laura's place!!!
Laura sent all pertinent information well in advance of our arrival and answered all my questions quickly and fully. Our dwelling was just as pictured on AirBnB - beautiful, clean, and spacious. We were within a few blocks of a Whole Foods store which we frequented for meals and supplies. We were also within only a few blocks of bus stops that got us to all the attractions we wanted to visit. Since I was visiting with my teenaged grandson, having separate bedrooms was an asset. We enjoyed the sunset and city lights in the evening and the beautiful gardens during the day. Couldn't be happier!
The room is conveniently located a short walk to restaurants, bars, the BART, and our office. It is in a quiet neighborhood with beautiful views of the area. It was exactly what we were looking for on our business trip. Would definitely stay again!
Really great apartment! Everything was as described and perfect for two couples. Laura is an awesome host and really easy to contact if you need anything. Also, the location is quiet and the view stunning.
Highly recommended! :)
What a fabulous apartment! We were so comfortable here. Perfect for a family of four. We found the location a little further from 'the action' but Uber was our saviour (approx $15 in the morning and $20 in peak hour in the late afternoon). Apartment was spotless and the beds were incredibly comfortable. We had ongoing issues with Wifi however our host did everything possible to fix the tech issue and was in constant contact so we have absolutely no complaints. Please note there is no tv in this apartment. Highly recommend.
