Greene park and 4 blocks from the Barclays Center/Atlantic Terminal. The C train stops literally steps from the building and the G is a 3 minute walk. At Atlantic Terminal (an 8 minute walk) you will find the 4/5, 2/3, B/D/Q, LIRR and more.

There are hundreds of cute cafes, restaurants and bars within a moment's walk, including BAM (Brooklyn Academy of Music) and the Paul Robeson Theater. On Saturdays you can enjoy the Brooklyn Flea nearby, shopping for gifts, antiques, or tasty locally made food or the Farmer's Market in Ft. Greene Park.
Next door to Habana Outpost for yummy margaritas and a block wine bars/great restaurants (Stonehome, No. 7, Prospect), a beer garden (Die Schwarze Kolner) and so many other types of food & drink!
You are also welcome to use the kitchen, there is a full stove/oven/refrigerator and feel free to use my pots/pans/dishes -- clean up is easy with the brand new dishwasher!

  • Elizabeth was a wonderful host. I appreciated her excellent communication in advance and during the stay. Her home is especially well stocked and quite spacious, with lots of personal charm. Fort Greene is loads of fun to explore and is chock-full of interesting restaurants, boutiques, and parks. Virtually every subway line is moments from her apartment.

  • This Ft. Greene apartment is an excellent place to stay during your visit to NYC. It definitely comes as advertised and is conveniently located next to a subway stop, the Brooklyn Flea, and several other great places to visit. Elizabeth was very flexible and easy to communicate with. I strongly recommend staying here if you can.

  • Elizabeth's studio is cute and clean. It is located in a great area with lots of activity going on right outside the doorstep. I was only there for one short night so i didn't really get to explore the neighborhood but it looks very cool and has a bustling night life. Elizabeth is very nice and easy to get in touch with. She made getting into the apartment hassle free. The subway station is right across the street which made it incredibly easy to get around. I had a great Brooklyn stay!

  • Elizabeth was a wonderful host and her place was just as described. My boyfriend and I had just arrived back to New York after a long trip in Europe. We needed a place to stay to rest comfortably and Elizabeth's place was perfect. The house was big enough for two, clean, and quiet. It was also stocked with kitchen essentials and clean towels and linens. Everything we needed was within a two to five minute walk (great bagel place, Target, laundry mat, grocery store, etc.). Elizabeth gave clear instructions and was helpful from start to finish. Her notes in the house made it easy to locate things and follow the house rules (which were completely reasonable and easy to follow). She was also completely okay with last minute booking. The only downside was no internet availability in the house. But there is a Starbucks with free WIFI nearby. The location is perfect for commuting to just about anywhere else in the city. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth's place to anyone looking to stay in a cute NYC neighborhood with easy access to Manhattan and other parts of the city.
