Most bookings me and my girlfriend Hailey are present at the house and available to help you get oriented with the city, get you tickets to the Art Gallery, recommend restaurants and so on.
Closest subway stop is St Patrick, about 10 mins walk away.
- Dundas and Beverley, 2 mins walk away. East-west line.

- Queen and Beverley, 5 mins walk away. East-west line.
Getting here from Pearson Airport, there are at least 2 options:
1) TTC Bus #192 is easy to find. It is at terminal 3. You will see prominent signs. It is the cheapest way to get downtown at $3.
This TTC (Toronto transit commission) bus will take you to Kipling station where you will transfer to the subway. Take the subway to Spadina station and transfer southbound. Get off at St. Patrick station and walk west along Dundas Street until you reach Beverley. Turn left (south) and walk to Grange Ave. Turn right. The walk from the subway is very safe. You will pass a police station on Dundas.
2) Taxi. It's about $60 to get right to my door.
The subway does not run between 1:30am and 6am.

Ilia has a lovely home in a superb location: next door to the Art Gallery of Ontario, round the corner from Toronto's Chinatown and no more than a 10 minute walk from the heart of downtown. And Ilia himself is a very welcoming and friendly host - in addition to being a very interesting person to talk to.
The bedroom was spotless and comfortable. And the bathroom exceptional.
Thank you, Ilia, for a wonderful stay and for the turmeric milk you so kindly shared with me!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with Ilia and Hailey. The location is perfect - close to the AGO and within walking distance of many great restaurants, the bed was really comfortable and the bathtub was amazing - you could swim laps in it! Hailey provided a lovely breakfast each day and both our hosts were warm and friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We will definately return!
Appreciated e spacious and thoughtfully decorated room and bathroom. We pretty much had all e privacy we needed on e second floor. Plus it's just minutes away from Queen Street West, Kensington, Chinatown; we found ourselves able to walk most places.
Ilia was one of the most gracious hosts I've ever met; it was easy to get in touch with him, and though we slept late, he kept breakfast out for us, checked in with us and got us free passes to the AGO nearby. I was a bit ill, and this place made a comfortable, convenient respite.
My fiancé and I had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, tidy and super cozy! The location was amazing--we enjoyed exploring several different neighborhoods all walkable from the house. Ilia and Haley were such great hosts! High recommended.
This was my first experience travelling with Airbnb, and one I thoroughly enjoyed. Ilia and Hailey made me feel very welcome (even the cat adopted me instantly :)). The room is as lovely and comfortable as it appears in the photo, and the house itself ticked all my boxes for comfort and location. Ilia and Hailey also provided much useful information alongside maps and an umbrella, and even helped me out on the first morning beyond any call of duty. The breakfast was truly yummy - loved the organic cereals, the variety of fruit, and different types of tea available. I'd commend both hosts for their warmth and thoughtfulness!
Ilia is a really nice host. Everything about the place is exactly like he described in the offer - even better. The neighborhood is perfect for walking to the nicest spots of Toronto. We spent a great time together.
