""""Room in HEART of Santiago""""
Our place is on a very nice location. The famous and multicultural Bellas Artes, where you can find many different and unique items as well as food from all over the world. There are plenty of nice restaurants and bars in the area.
The apartment is also only 2 blocks away from Bellas Artes subway station. 3mins from Santa Lucía Hill, 5 mins from San Cristóbal Hill and the famous Bellavista.
You will be provided with WIFI internet, wash machine, full equipped kitchen, movie player, etc
If you're looking for something nice, then you're in the right place.
There is 1 single bed in the room. It has a private bathroom (only toilet), the/bathtub shower is shared.
The room was fine: small, but that was expected. I didn't have much of a chance to talk to the couple, but they seemed really nice. Had no problems. I even ran into them at a bar one day randomly! :)
It was a great experience to be in Chile, and thanks to K & G my life was quite easy there. I recommend them to all airbnb community.
This is a nice, quiet room in a great neighborhood in the center of Santiago. It is an easy walk to a metro stop, and convenient to many of the museums. Kate and Gary also gave me some really good advice about the rest of my trip to Chile. I would definitely recommend staying here.
The description fits very well : a good place to stay in Santiago if you're travelling alone and come for a visit.
Katrina and Gary were nice to talk with !
Katrina and Gary are very friendly and welcoming. Their apartment is in a great location in the downtown area.
I just spent 5 days at K&G apartment last week. The apartment is located 2blocks away from train station and about 5 mins away from plaza de armas and also tourist information center in Santiago.
The room is small with a private bathroom on a nice and safe area of Santiago .( nice restaurants and bars nearby)
k&G are great hosts and very helpful with information regarding area.
I will recommend this room to anyone traveling solo.
The location is great and safe (cool bar downstairs that serves a range of artisan beers). Gary was helpful when approached and asked questions. I didn't meet his partner. Room small but good. Private bathroom very pokey (small). For a room you don't plan to spend much time in is great. Location is why makes this place
Katerina and Gary were excellent hosts. They were very accommodating, friendly and respectful throughout my stay. I was very pleased with my room and everything in the apartment came as advertised, including the wifi, private bathroom etc. The apartment is located in one of the best neighborhoods in Santiago - two blocks away from the Bellas Artes metro with Plaza de Armas and Bellavista in walking distance. This being my first time using Airbnb I was more than pleased with my experience.
I had a very nice stay at this apartment. The location is perfect: blocks away from the metro, safe and quiet neighborhood, and surrounded by plenty of cute shops and cafes. K&G are very nice and let you do your own thing, but are certainly available if you need any help or advice.
One thing I do think is worth mentioning, is that Gary works from home everyday and tends to work in the living room, which is right outside of the guest room. This means that if you get up after 9 am, you'll be waking up and walking to the bathroom bleary-eyed and hair matted, right past him. For me, this felt awkward at times, and I would have liked to have had more privacy. Since I was also in Santiago for work and not for pleasure, I also often had to work at home, and shared the space with him all day. He's great and it wasn't a problem, but I think it's worth mentioning in case you're the kind of person that wants more privacy.
Other than that, I would recommend this spot if you want to be in a central, safe area (also blocks from the park which was great for me as a runner) with a nice, quiet set of hosts. The apartment itself is very clean, although the bathroom you'll be using is quite small and a little decrepit/dirty. Other than that, I have no complaints!
