Queen-sized bed in a Sears kit home

House - Private room · Lynd Ave, Lyndhurst, OH 44124, United States

The Space

I'm offering up a master bedroom with a queen-sized Ikea Sultan bed with a futon-style mattress and two closets. I have a beautiful Sears kit home in the middle of Lyndhurst. It was one of the first houses on the block and was built by one of the founders of the city. It is five minutes away (by car) from Progressive Insurance, seven minutes from I-271, ten minutes from I-90 15 minutes from Little Italy and has easy street access to any of the the eastern suburbs.

I'm within three blocks of the Richmond mall, a supermarket, Mexican and Indian restaurants, banks, FedEx/Kinko's, a library, dry cleaners and a few salons.

There's a giant back yard, garage parking, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a library, a spacious basement and a laundry room. In the summer I have a two porches, a picnic area, several grills and a fire pit. If you have more than two people coming, there's an extra futon for more guests. Secure wireless internet, laundry, etc.

On weekends I often cook breakfast for everyone, and I make frequent trips to Amish Country on Saturdays. If you're around, you're welcome to join me!

  • Andrew was a great host! His neighborhood is nice and it made me feel safe. The first morning Andrew left me a note with suggestions on where to eat. I would definitely stay here again if I go back.

  • Andrew was wonderful!! He was super intelligent, friendly, outgoing, and very hospitable!! He even drew us a map to use to visit Lake View Cemetery, and he gave us great tips on restaurants. We really enjoyed Mia Bella! The room was nice and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay and talking with Andrew!!! I would highly recommend staying with Andrew at his lovely home!!!

  • Althouth we arrived quite late, Andrew stayed up and gave us some basic information about the house. We only stayed one night, and we found everything as promised. The house looks really cool, the room is basic but comfortable and we could park our car in the driveway. We would definitely stay here again.

  • My boyfriend and I were en route between Ithaca and Cincinnati, and Andrew's home was the perfect place to crash in between. We arrived very late at night, but he was a gracious host. He had a nifty arrangement so that we could come in with minimal disturbance. An old house with lots of character. We were very comfortable and would gladly come again.

  • Greatest host ever!! Andrew was very friendly with us, he took us to downtown Cleveland in his own car, and gave us directions of places we should visit.
The house is very clean and the bed was very comfortable.
I would definitely stay with him again if I ever have the opportunity to visit Cleveland again.
    Thanks for everything Andrew!!!

  • Andrew was a great host. We had a fun evening in a very nice house in a calmer part of Cleveland. I would always recommend this place, not only because it is beautiful and clean but also for having a good chat with the host.

  • Staying at Andrew's place was great and really felt like being at home! The room is nice and has a really comfy bed, and the rest of the house is spacious and colorful. The neighborhood is safe and only 20 minutes away from downtown Cleveland. However, the best thing of all for me was to have such a friendly and flexible host! When it got supercold, Andrew lent me some gloves that saved my hands from freezing, and he also helped me out with adaptors for the pc and directions to places I wanted to visit. I totally recommend staying here, you have your own space and you can share nice conversations and a meal with Andrew when he is around, he is a lot of fun and goes out of his way to help. Thank youi Andrew!

I do a lot of stuff, but my favorite things to do are read and write and travel and have adventures. On any given night I'm writing, running errands, training for a half-marathon, taking care of my vegetable garden, sailing, cooking, ballroom dancing (tango and quickstep), organizing social events, training, zoning out or reading. I also like Amish stuff and dogs.
