I'm offering up a master bedroom with a queen-sized Ikea Sultan bed with a futon-style mattress and two closets. I have a beautiful Sears kit home in the middle of Lyndhurst. It was one of the first houses on the block and was built by one of the founders of the city. It is five minutes away (by car) from Progressive Insurance, seven minutes from I-271, ten minutes from I-90 15 minutes from Little Italy and has easy street access to any of the the eastern suburbs.
I'm within three blocks of the Richmond mall, a supermarket, Mexican and Indian restaurants, banks, FedEx/Kinko's, a library, dry cleaners and a few salons.
There's a giant back yard, garage parking, a kitchen, a living room, a dining room, a library, a spacious basement and a laundry room. In the summer I have a two porches, a picnic area, several grills and a fire pit. If you have more than two people coming, there's an extra futon for more guests. Secure wireless internet, laundry, etc.
On weekends I often cook breakfast for everyone, and I make frequent trips to Amish Country on Saturdays. If you're around, you're welcome to join me!

While I am not a friend of Dorothy, I'm a friend of her friends. No discrimination.
On weekdays through June, one of my other rooms is rented to a consultant; he is very quiet and, when he is home, he is usually asleep. He is only in a few nights a week. Starting in July, I will have a full-time roommate in that room, but he will also almost never be home.
Oh, and seriously. Dogs welcome. I love them.
General house rules - clean up after yourself, no savage weeknight partying, lock the doors, etc. Other than that, I'm pretty flexible.
Such a wonderful stay! Everything from the host to the rest was perfect. I would definitely stay here again and definitely recommend this space to any and all travelers. It was clean, warm, comfortable, and welcoming. Can't ask for more!!
Andrew was great! The listing looks exactly like the photos. Neighborhood was great and the location was very central and nearby a lot of places to eat, convenient stores and a movie theater.
Andrew was the most welcoming host I've ever had. He seemed like an old friend immediately!
The house was warm and cozy on a VERY cold winter night.
I would absolutely recommend this AirBnB home to anyone looking for a fun, relaxing atmosphere.
Great suggestions on eateries, destinations, and things to do while in Cleveland.
We can't wait to visit again and will Definitely stay with Andrew.
This is my second stay with Andrew - and that says it all. Andrew is a fantastic host - friendly, responsive, and extremely helpful. He made me feel welcomed and at home. Since I was in town for business, he even went out of his way and put me in contact with several people he thought might be of help.
Andrew was a great host! He is quite the social butterfly and is very knowledgeable about the happenings and things to do in Cleveland! He gave us great recommendations for local places to go. We absolutely loved our time in Cleveland and would definitely consider staying with him again. In summary, comfy bed, cozy house, great conversation!
Andrew couldn't have been any nicer......interesting guy....only stayed one night but I recommend his place to anyone that wants to stay in Greater Cleveland...
I stayed at Andrew's place for almost two weeks, and the room is just as the listing description. The whole house has a nice atmosphere with hard wood floors in most places and wood panneling. Andrew was very prompt in responding to my emails before I started the stay and during the stay.
During my stay Andrew and his roommate was out most of the time, and sometimes it was too quiet for my liking, but it might be perfect for others.
The neighborhood felt safe, had nice big trees lining the whole street, and was close to grocery and couple of restaurants.
Coming from a almost new spacious house to this older and smaller house took a little bit of adjusting but was ok after couple days.
Have to echo other reviewers comments about how good it was to have really nice hot showers :) Definitely one of the plus points. Maybe the only major thing to improve is the cleanliness of the microwave. It was fine, but could use more regular cleaning.
I am planning to stay in touch with Andrew while I stay in Cleveland (moved to a regular rental now).

I do a lot of stuff, but my favorite things to do are read and write and travel and have adventures. On any given night I'm writing, running errands, swimming, sailing, break dancing, taking care of my vegetable garden, sailing, cooking, ballroom dancing (tango, salsa and swing), organizing parties, training, cooking or reading. I also like Amish stuff and dogs.
