A very unique and fun experience! The 3 story water tower overlooks a beautiful cherry orchard and has an elegant, country inn feel to it. The bed is extremely comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. And the shower is really fun! Although next to the main house the water tower is very private and has a view out the front door of their large patio with comfy furniture and a outdoor fireplace available for guest use. The location is great-close to wineries and restaurants in Lodi, which is a very cute town! Highly recommended!
The Copper Rooster Water Tower was a fabulous, and very unique, way to spend a weekend in the Sacramento area for a friend's wedding. The tower itself is in the middle of a cherry orchard; the setting is amazing. The tower itself is unlike anything you've ever experienced before. The three stories each serve a purpose and are wonderfully decorated and have everything you need. I think the coolest part of the entire place is the shower, which is made from an old steel pipe; it may sound different, but it so cool. Terri was a great host as well and very responsive to any questions/concerns I had. Be sure to bring a bike along, as there are plenty of great rides nearby!
This place is awesome! It's totally unique, the watertower is remodeled with first class everything, its really special, charming, and you wake up to an endless view of cherry groves and vineyards. There is a beautiful outdoor patio to hang out and welcoming hosts including Kipper the happy family dog. Super comfy bed to sleep in and if you love quiet, you will get a really great night of sleep. Terri and her family are so nice and welcoming, making sure you have everything you need and then some. Its conveniently located in Lodi wine country, where we enjoyed tastings and a river hike. I couldn't imagine a nicer place. We loved it and will absolutely be back!
This was a gorgeous weekend getaway spot. The "tower" was everything as described in the photos: cozy, unique, and filled with every amenity a traveler could want. The scenery was awe-inspiring, and the 2nd floor deck was the perfect viewing spot to take in the surrounding vineyards. Also, as a cyclist, it was also great to ride the flat and very smoothly paved surrounding roads! I can't say enough great things about this place. If only there were 6-star ratings in feedback!
As advertised. Beautiful property in a beautiful spot. Great BBQ a fire pit. Renovated water tower is perfect for two people. Thanks for everything!
The Copper Rooster lives up to all the good things written about it. Surrounded by green vineyards and luscious cherry orchards. Where else can you live like this? The second and third floor of the water tower puts you up above the trees and vines so you get a view you can't stop staring at. Amazingly wonderful. We stayed in April so all the windows in the place were thrown open and the breeze was heavenly. We slept like babies. Terri and her family seem to have this sixth sense about making your stay completely comfortable. We brought our bikes and Terri outlined the most awesome morning ride. Rode about eight miles through vineyards, the historic town of Woodbridge, and then around Lodi Lake. If you can, do it.
