The Cooper Rooster Inn was a great way to spend the weekend in lodi. Everything about it was so thoughtful and when else do you get to stay in a three story tower?! It was an awesome stay and Terri was absolutely wonderful and courteous.
It's small - really only for one or two people, which was perfect for us. Top floor has a fantastic view of vineyards in all directions too!
Terri was very communicative and accommodating. She went out of her way to make sure that everything for the stay went smoothly. Unfortunately, I had a last minute change of plans and wasn't able to stay in the water tower inn. Terri was very understanding and I hope to stay here next time I'm in the area for sure.
My girlfriend and I stayed here for a night to go wine tasting in Lodi. Let me tell the story like this: When we were at one of the wineries, we made a comment that we're staying at "a water tower nearby." The place lit up. Among the chatter that ensued, one of the local ladies screamed, "You're staying at the Copper Rooster???", and then went on to tell us how nice the place was and how popular it was around town.
We agree with everything she said. This place is amazing and perfectly unique, and Terri and her husband have thought of everything you might need. We loved our stay. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.
Oh, and we must tell you: They have an amazing dog named Kipper who will love you to pieces. He made our night, and it took all of our self control not to take him home. :)
Very friendly folks, enjoyed all family members including the family dog Kipper. The out door fireplace and a bottle of wine upon our arrival was lovely as was the conversation and the very local pecans an almonds. The water tower was very nicely done and amazingly well equipped for a small space. It was a lovely two day stay. We enjoyed the nice meals at places that were recommended by the hosts as were the towns of Acampo and Lodi. The bed was very comfortable.
Perfect experience from the time we arrived to the time we left.
We couldn't have asked for better hosts.
Thanks again for making this stay memorable with your attention to detail and all your planning.
The Copper Rooster is so unique, and so great. Terri has thoughtfully worked out every detail in this little gem. I loved every part of it. I highly recommend checking it out. It's really great for one person but two fit just fine. Terri & Jay are exceptional hosts as well. It was really a great experience.
The Copper Rooster Water Tower Inn was our home away from home for the week while we toured the beautiful wine country of Lodi. Terri and Jay were most gracious hosts who really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed and more. The Water Tower is a cozy, adorable little place that is perfect to relax and unwind. We spent a lot of time enjoying our newly acquired wine and the lovely view from the balcony. There are so many unique touches and details that you can really see the effort that Terri and Jay go to make us feel at home. We enjoyed our stay and their company and I really hope that we can get back up that way again. I highly recommend staying if you are looking for a more unique wine country experience.
Terri is a great host. A very unique and wonderful place to stay! Super comfy bed! Perfect location for a trip to Lodi. I can't wait to go back!
Thank you Terri!
What a sweet little place! We came out for a weekend of wine tasting in Lodi and The Copper Rooster Water Tower Inn is in the middle of some of the best wineries. The place is absolutely quiet (you can hear trains, but we love the sound so we barely noticed them). The next morning we sat outside on the deck and drank our coffee--and spent a few minutes playing with the puppy.
We recommended the Copper Rooster to everyone we met during our stay--and are planning our next trip back.
We had a great time staying in this restored water tower. The space was excellent and really creative. All of the little touches were great! Terri and Jay were very nice and super helpful. I have to say that I do not like dogs, but I loved their dog Kipper. He was sooo sweet and super friendly. We would definitely return.
