  • I am not sure you will have a better experience than with Alex and Christine. Especially for the ridiculously great price. They are both incredibly friendly and will make you feel right at home. Very helpful and laid back. They are very flexible and you'd be hard pressed to find better hosts. The location was great. Just a few minutes from Downtown Hartford without actually having to deal with the hassle of being in downtown. The room was nice and spacious with a desk, closet, and a very comfortably big bed. If I were to visit Hartford, or any of the surrounding areas for that matter, I would absolutely book with them again.

  • I had a great time at Alex and Christine's place. It was among my first Airbnb experiences and Im so glad I was being hosted by them. The following is my experience with regard to:

    1. Location - Located in the center of Farmington Ave, with several coffee shops and restaurants a few blocs away (Green Tea House has great tea). I did not have any trouble with locating the place. Alex was helpful throughout.
    2. Housing- Room was huge, it was clean and just what i needed- quiet, with a desk to work at.Shared bathroom, which was clean too.Cute house in general.
(website hidden)- The bus stop was a minute away and was an easy commute. UConn Health Center was just 3-4 miles away,Christine was super nice, and gave me a ride( both ways) to the hospital.

Overall experience- I could go on about my stay here, only because it was that awesome. I enjoyed their company and being in the medical field, Alex gave me some good advice too. Christine is among the nicest people I've met. I wish them both the best of luck with everything and I would definitely recommend the place to anyone.

  • Alex and Christine are amazing hosts! I arrived late to Connecticut but they gave me a very walm welcome to their apartment! The room is spacious, bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is really clean! Despite my terrible trip delays, I was lucky to have booked with them cause i really had a good night sleep and i think that helped me a lot with my residency interview the following morning!

In addition, my taxi never came and christine was so nice to drive me to the hospital! Indeed, a pleasure meeting this couple and fully recommend their place!

  • Alex had a wonderful place and was kind. My room was big and comfy. Everything as stated was included. He had also provided space in the fridge for whatever food I had bought, and space in the washroom. Overall it was a good experience, Alex was always professional allowing me to keep to myself when I was busy and chat if we were free.

  • Alex was really fast and responsive with booking, barely saw him during the stay, but a cool and friendly guy. And everything with the room was fine - clean and great value. Thanks Alex!

Hi, I'm a medical resident training here in Hartford Connecticut. I have a nice queit little condo in West Hartford which I've opened up for AirB&B users like myself. I've used AirB&B once to visit Montreal with my girlfriend and it was a great experience. When I'm not working at the hospital I love to travel. Been all over Central and South America as well as in the United States. I enjoy cooking, and my kitchen is well equiped if you want to whip something up yourself.
