We had a nice stay in this basement apartment. It is in a wonderful location and in walking distance of most interests. It was a little hot with only one window air conditioner but lovely with the windows open.
Really good location and great service.
I'm not sure I would recommend this apartment. At £194 total for 3 nights it is quite expensive. The additional 25€ cleaning charge that is paid to a cleaner upon arrival should be included in the initial price.
It should be made clearer that it is a basement flat and there is therefore a lack of natural light. Also, one towel for a 3 night stay is not enough.
Other than that, the location is excellent.
The apartment is in an excellent location at the intersection of Goya and Principe de Vergara. Two spacious bedrooms and a good living room. The apartment is slightly ageing but good for a short stay. It is very reasonable for the price and location. Additionally, the host make a very efficient arrangement for check in, check out and cleaning. Recommend this place for a short stay in a great location.
Great location away from the hustle of the central part of town, however still walking distance close.
We were welcomed by an assistant who was not very informative and was in a rush. When I used the iron the power went out, however the breaker box was all that I needed to fix the issue.
The beds are hard and are made of foam, which is my only real issue. I would stay here again if it had a real bed, however I noticed most beds in Spain were hard.
Communication before and during our stay were great.
The apartment it is amazing area of Salamanca Neighbourhood, it is very fresh, even during the worst hottest days in Madrid. It is well maintained, clean and tidy. It is rightly recommended!
Elisa is a great host and the apartment is in a fantastic location (2 blocks from Retiro Park). Well recommended!
Everything was as described, very friendly and flexibe host, we loved it!
We were happy with the location and the apartment was very roomy. The beds were very comfortable. It was a basement apartment and there was a musty smell. There was an elevator in the building but it did not service the basement so we had to walk up some stairs and then down some to get to the apt.
Great location near Goya station. Clean simple rooms. Ran into a snafu at the beginning that Elisa quickly resolved before I could even really wrap my head around the problem. Easy to work with. Would book again.
