We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Granary and would certainly recommend to anyone on the hunt for a relaxing countryside retreat. The Granary itself is full of character and includes plenty of homely touches that add to the experience (the electric blanket is a great addition this time of year as well!). Alice prepared the place immaculately and we arrived to a fridge stocked with essentials, and she's always on hand to recommend places in the area to eat and drink. All in all, the perfect Christmas break, thanks Alice!
Thank you so much Alice for a wonderful stay! We really enjoyed our time at the cottage, it was so cosy and perfect. It had everything we needed to cook a delicious Christmas meal for ourselves also which was great. We hop to be back for some yoga sometime!
Everything about our trip to The Granary was perfect. The cottage was lovely and had everything we needed. The fresh eggs, milk and bread were a lovely treat and made us feel very welcome. A fantastic way to start Christmas! Thank you Alice!
I was after a relaxing weekend away from the London and The Granary was just right! Alice was the perfect host and super helpful leading up to my stay. The local butter, milk, eggs and honey and jam were a much appreciated and delicious touch. The property is gorgeous green and peaceful. I'd go back in a heartbeat.
A really pretty, characterful room with lovely furniture, great facilities and a really comfortable, welcoming feel. Fridge stocked with essentials - very useful! Highly recommended and great value.
We loved our stay at The Granary. The setting and surroundings are absolutely beautiful and it felt very special to see the life in a farm. Although we didn't have the pleasure of meeting Alice because she was on holidays, we met the staff that run the farm and they were all really nice, making us feel very welcome.
I would recommend to stay at The Granary; it is a great way to enjoy The Cotswolds and the English countryside. The bed is super comfortable and the rest looks exactly as the photos. We were delighted with the choice.
We had a fantastic time here. The house was lovely and in a beautiful location.
Everything was in working order and as advertised. Did not meet Alice but Boyce was helpful enough.
The village itself was small but scenic and easy to travel to other places such as Oxford.
Overall we had a great time and have already begun recommending it to friends and family.
I'm a 32 year old whom, after 7 years living and working as a caterer in London, has found herself back running the family farm in the Cotswolds. Am really enjoying country life and all it has to offer, especially the abundance of locally produced ingredients for my catering. I have lots of little projects on the go to do with diversification of the farm which keeps me busy, as well as looking after a horse, 2 dogs and some chickens! I look forward to welcoming people here and sharing the enjoyment that the farm brings me.
