Only a block or two away from several public transport stops that will get you anywhere you need to go in the city. This includes both the N-Line (light rail) which will take you directly into Union Square or if you prefer to take the train west, you will arrive on the sands of the Pacific Ocean within 10 minutes. Beautiful sunsets! There are also several bus stops within a block or two as well.
The Inner Sunset has a quaint, neighborhood vibe right in the heart of the city. There are numerous restaurants to choose from, including SF favorites: Arizmendi Pizza, Nopalito, Pasion and Marnee Thai Restaurant. There is also a wide diversity of ethnic cuisine, such as, Ethiopian, Taiwanese, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, Eritrean, Indian and I may be forgetting a country or two.
In need of groceries? We are one block away from Andronico’s Supermarket. I probably end up stopping in there about two or three times a day myself.
We have two dogs, Savuka and Toby. They are Lab mixes. Very friendly and generally calm. You will get an excited, tail-wagging greeting when you come in the house, but they quickly revert to chill-out mode soon after you arrive.
Again, If you have any additional questions/concerns, please email and I will respond as soon as I can.
All common areas, including the kitchen. We provide breakfast items such as bagels, spreads, cereal, fruits, sugar, milk, coffee and tea.
Interaction with Guests
Our interaction is very flexible with each guest. Of course everyone's personality is a little different, so we try to be aware and respectful of the level of interaction a guest may be seeking from us. That being said, we are always available to answer any questions our guests may have for us during the duration of their stay.
Relative to other neighborhoods in the city, the Inner Sunset is quiet and safe. There are numerous restaurants and activities within a couple of blocks of our house. One of our favorite features of our neighborhood is the proximity to Golden Gate Park. We are only 3 blocks from the entrance. One of the true treasures of San Francisco. Our neighborhood is centrally located in the city where we are only a 10 minute commute west to Ocean Beach and about a 20-30 minute commute east to the downtown area, the Embarcadero, Chinatown, Fisherman's Wharf, etc. On a side note, we are a 15 minute walk from our house to Golden Gate Heights Park, which is a small park on a hill, that on a clear day, provides one of the best panoramic views in the San Francisco.
You can get anywhere you want to go in the city using public transportation. Bus and train stops are only 1 block from our house.
We prefer a check-in time no later than 9pm, but we are flexible if there is a special circumstance.
Rob and Jacqui were helpful during our stay. The private room and bath down the hall is accurately described and is situated in the bustling accessible Irving Street neighborhood. We walked to the N Line and the Golden Gate Botanical Garden. The hosts provided coffee and breakfast items as well as access to a drawer in the fridge and use of the dining table. The two large dogs are certainly part of this Airbnb package; we found it best to interact with them so they grew to know us and be comfortable with our coming and going.
Room was exactly as described in the post. The neighborhood was awesome for walking anywhere, plus there's a lightrail line running a couple blocks from the apartment if you would like to get to another neighborhood, or the beach. We even strolled home from the beach one night! I would definitely recommend taking time to check out Golden Gate Park which is also within walking distance.
Rob was our main contact, and while reserved in concierge services, he gave us great recommendations for places to eat! We loved staying here and look forward to seeing Rob and Jacqui again.
We had an excellent first Airbnb experience. The place is clean and spacious, the bed is comfy and big. The dogs were really sweet and well behaved. Great location walking distance from golden gate park and restaurants. Would recommend Rob was a great host.
Perfect experience in Rob&Jacqui' apartment. Same as the pic, room is very clean with 2 cute dogs. Very convenience location to take bus to downtown. Walking distance to Golden Gate Park.
This was a great stay. The home and room were well appointed and very clean. The location was excellent, and very central to everything. Will definitely recommend and I personally will try to stay again if I'm in the city! Awesome hosts!
Rob and Jacqui are wonderful hosts. They were very accommodating, helpful, and just generally lovely people with a wonderful home. They have two very friendly dogs who were a pleasure to have around. The listing and the pictures are accurate; because of the big bay windows, the bedroom is very light. It's a good size and the bed is very comfortable. The neighbourhood is great. There are lots of shops and some great restaurants in the area. The Golden Gate Park is beautiful and a mere five-minute-walk away. Transport connections are also great, it was very easy to get to the beach, the city, and to and from the airport. All in all, we had a lovely time and would highly recommend their listing.
About the Host, Jacqui And Rob
We both moved to San Francisco about 3 years ago for the love of the city. There is so much to do in this city that we're continuously finding new things to do and new adventures to explore. We look forward to hosting you.
