Fez, Morocco's first imperial city was founded in the early 9th century.
Capital of the kingdom under the reign of Merinids this city and its enlarging pursuit embellished Palace decorated with marble and many Medersas (schools) Dynasty Sâadiene, Fez became the prey of anarchy.
Returned once again the capital of Morocco under the reign of Moulay Abdellah Alaoui, Fez finds his importance: Boujloud Palace is built, great work aménégement are entrpris.
Fez now started its industrial development, while maintaining its traditional role of spiritual capital and sauvgardant his mysterious panorama.
It is this alignment that is the secret of its universal heritage and Fez distinguished from all other cities in Morocco.

Location is good...close to all local amenities and city centre.
Specious. ..good side of bedrooms.
But it was very cold...when we complained heating was sorted in bedrooms.
Toilet seat was broekn and very small shower.
Very hot water in the bathroom sink..can't use at all.
Kitchen not in good condition. .very few cups and cutlery.
No toilet tissues but were arranged on demand.
Brother ali who looks after the apartment is very helpful.
We were asked extra money for extra three people though it can fit 10 people and we were only 7 people
I can recommend this apartment for young and people who can climb the stairs.
This place felt really big due to it's huge double living room / dining room area. The master bedroom was a good size too. The living room area was very Moroccan which was a plus, but the bedroom was all red, including a red light, which could be a little spooky, but we got used to it and it was certainly exotic.
Unfortunately, there is a reason why the bathroom & kitchen are not pictured: though they were clean, they were very basic, bare and undecorated. The kitchen gas range required lighting with a lighter, and there was no soap, towels, cooking oil, salt, etc. just a minimum of dishes & cookware.
No towels or even toilet paper in the bathroom. The shower curtain was oddly placed, and only served to give privacy, water ran into the other areas, leaving the floor wet.
The biggest problem for us was that the clothes washer was broken/unusable. Apparently the door was ripped off by previous guests, and this was the 2nd washer broken recently. The net effect was that we couldn't wash our clothes. (We were directed to a laundry service around the corner which charged to do individual items of clothing, hotel-style.)
The internet was a Morocco telecom wireless usb dongle plugged into a wireless router. Unfortunately neither my iPhone nor my laptop could access the internet from it, even though they seemed to be connected. We were able to use the internet by plugging the dongle directly into my laptop and installing software, but even then it was quite slow. (In our other Moroccan accommodations, internet speed was better, presumably due to being based upon an ADSL or cable connection.) Hopefully, they will improve the configuration for future guests. (We were apparently the first to use the internet.) For anyone wishing to do voice-calling though the bandwidth probably won't suffice.
The property is in the hands of a management company. The representative who came to greet us (Mr. Ali) was affable and helpful, and in their defense had we complained about the towels & toilet paper, this would surely have been fixed for us. We made do with drying ourselves with a clean sheet we found, and luckily we had some toilet paper + other toiletry items with us.
Location: for those like us wishing to be in ville nouvelle rather than the medina, it was well located. Noisy by day, but surprisingly quiet from about midnight to 7 AM the two nights we were there. The cost was quite reasonable, and the space large, so a few downsides were probably to be expected.
This is the final rate, including any fees from the host and Airbnb.
