You will be surprised to know that the ancient building of 1700 year where the apartment is located is in the immediate vicinity of the famous and now disappeared Port of Ripetta , a river port built in the beginning of 1700 year under the pontificate of Clement XI . This port was considered for its beauty a jewel of architecture and served for almost 200 years the mooring of boats that provided the city of Rome of food and various products coming from the north of Italy . The apartment has an area of approximately 130 Sqm . It is fully restored and placed at 4 floor . It is very bright and completely and finely furnished. The building has no elevator but the ascent is not absolutely uncomfortable having to go up for about 50 steps. As you enter the apartment you can find a large entrance with kitchen equipped with a table to eat comfortably in 4/6 persons . Than follows a large hall where you can enjoy the view of the Palazzo Borghese and partially also the Ara Pacis The Lounge features a large sofa that is possible to be transformed also as a bed and a perfectly working fireplace and dining area with additional table. Than you can follow the corridor that will lead you to an area of the apartament where you will find an office-room with desk where you can use in a very confortable way your computer and to connect with internet , and also a bedroom with wardrobe and two single beds and a large bedroom with television, air conditioning and private bathroom with shower and comfortable wardrobe room. Precious antique furnishings, oriental carpets, high wooden ceilings, original terracotta floors and upholstery fabrics to complete this beautiful and cozy apartment. Down in the street , just in front of the entrance of the building , you can find a bus stop with two lines, the line 70 which leads to the termini station and the line 87 which leads to San Giovanni in Laterano. Nearby in Piazza Monte d'Oro (You can walk there in 3 minutes) you can find a nice and useful fruit and vegetable market and a supermarket (in Piazza Fontanella Borghese) Because in the building there is no lift , on request, there is a man from the supermarket who can bring up to your apartment the bags of products that you bought . This service is not free of charge .
