If you want a 100% Parisian experience, come to the Abbesses section of Montmartre where I live. It's a village with boutiques, bars, and tons of charm.
I love art and can direct you to what's happening in galleries and museums.
A comfortable double bed in a sunny apartment in the Abbesses section of Montmartre. Free wifi, private bathroom, BREAKFAST INCLUDED, nice American welcome.
(Also please note: we are on the 3rd floor of a walk-up, that is, 4th floor if you are American. NO ELEVATOR. ;-)
If stairs are a problem for you, you should probably look for another place.)
The room is on a quiet courtyard and has drawer space, a cute desk and an extensive collection of Paris maps and guidebooks.
Incredibly charming neighborhood with affordable restaurants, bars, food shops and boutiques. Close to Sacré Coeur, the Moulin Rouge and Pigalle.
Five minutes away from either Metro Abbesses (line 12) or Blanche (line 2).
Fifteen minutes away from Gare du Nord (RER and Eurostar).
Thirty minutes away from the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Eiffel Tower.
And only a short walk away from the Basilica of Sacré Coeur, the café where Amélie Poulain worked and the Moulin Rouge.
Art lovers take note: always contemporary art on the walls in the salon that doubles as an art gallery. Private art tours in paris and Montmartre available.
I love to spoil my guests and make them feel extra welcome. But read my reviews. They'll tell you even more!
Interaction with Guests
I serve breakfast in the morning, and if guests want, have a nice little chat.
Charming village-type neighborhood, full of shops, bars, and lots of interest.
Both metro Abbesses (line 12) and metro Blanche (line 2) are about a seven-minute walk away.
Buses (phone number hidden) and 95 are also nearby.

My apartment front door is very heavy. Please hold on to it so that it does not slam and make a loud noise.
The most important rule is to ask me if you need anything, or if anything is wrong. I am here to help you be comfortable and enjoy your stay!
Home! Intelligent and interesting conversation! Warmth and effort for making it an experience are words that come to my mind for Grace. Right from my booking to figuring out how I can reach to my office, Grace was with me, guiding me and ensuring that I took the simplest routes.
Every morning once she knew I was up, she would go down and get me fresh bakery varieties. Now who would do that?!
Grace ensured simple things like warming the house more than usual as I was coming from India so, that I am comfortable.
The room and the house are exact as the pictures and Grace is an exceptional host. If you want a great place to live in and a beautiful surrounding and yet close to the heart of he city? It's Grace's place. Two metros within 5 minutes walk. Lots of eating places both fine dining and quick bites.
The home is one the third floor so, avoid large suitcases. I guess that stands true for any heritage Parisian home!
My weekend in Paris was great and Grace was very helpful and her response really quick.. Grace gave me the "tourist" information..what to see and how to go there from the apartment..and she is very kind to gave me couple of tickets.. The apartment is exactly looks like the pictures and remember to travel light (unless you are OK to carry all your luggage up to 3rd floor with narrow stairs.. Just like what I did ;p )
Thank you Grace for your kindness..foie grass and wine..
It was comfortable, convenient and clean. Grace is delightful, and so helpful about how to get around Paris and good restaurants.
Grace's place was great!
Perfect location-safe and charming neighbourhood. The private room was perfect for 1-2 people, shower was separated from toilet - which is nice.
Grace had prepared me breakfast during my 3days stay, toast, croissant, juice and coffee. It was awesome to stay in the artistic living room with street views and enjoy the breakfast. And Grace had an art event on my first night at home and invited me to join. There were a lot of fun.
Thank you so much Grace, it was nice meeting you!
I've stayed in Grace place for 3 days and it was a very nice stay. The room is clean and warm, the building is beautiful. It locates in convenient location, I went to Moulin Rouge in the first night and it just took me 5mins walk in the cold night. There are a lot of nice restaurant near by, I had a dinner in cafe toinette which is highly recommended.
And thank you for Grace's advice I can took the bus 95 and can reach museum louvre directly. I had a very nice trip in Paris and would recommend her place to everyone.
Grace's place was one of the most comfortable places I stayed at during my 2 week stay in France. The room and queen size bed were big enough for me to move around, I appreciated the huge absorbent Land's End towels and breakfast and chat in the mornings. She went down to the local bakery to get a fresh croissant in the morning, how cool is that ?

A New Yorker in Paris for over 29 years, I live in a very cool area of Montmartre on the rue des Abbesses and have an art gallery in my home where I host art openings just about every month.
