A comfortable, self catering unit for two, with private access and off road parking. Very close to the magnificent Peak District, Dark Peak and only four miles away from Sheffield City Centre with its Theatres, Sporting venues and Universities.
My Garden Annexe has one large bedroom with twin beds or a superking bed depending on the visitors, with french doors leading to the secluded garden. There is also a private sitting room/dressing room with a freesat TV and plenty of cupboard space for clothes as well as a couple of comfy antique easy chairs. There is an ensuite shower room with a double shower, basin and toilet and a small kitchenette with a combination oven, kettle, toaster, fridge, crockery and cutlery, washing machine and drier. There is underfloor heating throughout the annexe and it is very warm and cosy in winter. The annexe has its own entrance and separate access to the private drive/off street parking. The whole annexe is about 60 square metres. It is simply decorated with white walls and Laura Ashley wall coverings and curtains and natural stone floor tiles. The bedroom has a vaulted ceiling and small chandelier. The annexe catches the sun in afternoon and has a small patio with garden furniture which is ideal for afternoon tea and cakes or a late lunch.
We are four miles from the centre of Sheffield, with its theatres, shops, sports/snooker venues and half a mile from glorious countryside, bordering the Peak District National Park and we can take our visitors on wonderful walks if requested. There is a bus stop just around the corner which takes you into Sheffield City Centre and a Train Station just one mile away which goes to Sheffield in ten minutes or Manchester in 40 minutes. The property is situated in a lovely village/suburb which has plenty of small shops, pubs, restaurants and churches and attractive stone properties. We share the main property with five Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers who love people but can be kept away from non dog lovers. They enjoy the garden and walks close to the house; dog lovers are very welcome to join them on excursions into the neighbouring hills.
Checking in time after 3pm.
Checking out time by 10 am.
No smoking inside the annexe but smoking is permitted outside as long as an ash tray is used.
The annexe has self catering facilites and so breakfast is not provided.
It would be helpful if guests did not return to the annexe later than 11pm as they may disturb the dogs and hence the neighbours. Cars should be parked directly in front of the garage allowing enough space for the owners car to escape.
Had a fantastic stay in Zoe's annex. Had everything we needed - comfy bed, great shower, cooking equipment and a lovely complementary bottle of wine. The place was conveniently located within walking distance from the local shops and was a great place to stay for our visit to the Peak District. Thanks Zoe!
Zoe went to a lot of trouble to make us welcome. She wasn't able to accommodate us in the annexe, but very kindly offered us the spare bedroom in her home. It had been newly decorated and had everything we needed. We had tea\coffee making facilities in the room (with fresh milk) and Zoe welcomed us with a plate of stollen. Breakfast was very nicely cooked and presented with plenty of choice. Thank you Zoe for a very pleasant stay!
Zoe's annexe was perfect for our family group which included a one-year old. It was a great combination having self-catering facilities for Saturday evening and overnight, then full breakfast provided on Sunday morning. It was easy to find, and Zoe was very flexible about our arrival time on Saturday.
