"Osanna", master bedroom

Apartment - Private room · Via Fratelli Poerio, Florence, Tuscany 50133, Italy

The Space

I live in a nice apartment, it is very quiet. There are two master bedrooms available for guests. This ad is about the "Osanna" master bedroom. The name come from a manor in the Tuscan countryside were the furnitures was. It's very wide and lighting. There are two bathrooms, one for me and one for Guests, with shower. You'll share the bathroom with the guests of the "Clementina" master bedroom. We'll share the living room and the kitchenette.

This is a comfortable place to relax during Your tour of Florence.

You'll find clean bedclothes, pillowcases and towels (but not ironed, I don't like ironing...).

Internet Wi-Fi available in the living room 24h.

Wash&dry machine available on request, with additional charge (€ 5,00).

You can't smoke inside the house. You can smoke outside, there's a covered space just in front of the entrance.

"Le Cure" is the name of my neighborhood. Here You'll find all kind of services and shops. Cafe and pastry shops for delicious breakfasts, restaurants and pizzerias. Five minutes walking from here there are two markets for cheap buy. The square is the heart of the neighborhood. Every morning there's the market, with fresh fruits and vegetables.

You can easily reach the downtown by bus. The bus stop is just around the corner!

The apartment is easily reachable from the train station "S. Maria
Novella" by bus.

  • Francesco was a masterful host. He gave me a warm welcome, a tour in his apartment and all the information I needed, eventhough I arrived very late.
The apartment is part of a majestic old Tuscan style building located in "Le Cure", near the center (I only took the bus once, you can easily walk to any point of the city). Through thr entrance, a powerful wooden gate with a smaller door in it, you reach the beautiful green atrium. Upstairs lies the apartment. The bedroom as well as the bathroom, kitchen and diningroom are comfortable if not luxurious and very clean. As seen in the pictures the room has a beautiful typically Florentine interior: dark antique wooden furniture whith lovely handcrafted carvings, mighty wooden beams that hold the roof and a baroque sofa. The room had keys, there were different size towels placed in order, snacks, water, and even ear wax - in short: I felt like I was in a hotel.

I strongly recommend Francescos apartment to everyone who wants to get the best possible experience out of their stay in Florence for an unmatched deal.

  • Francesco's house and room was awesome. I didn't realize the room I booked was more than a room in a flat. There are courtyard after the first door, and there also a small "livingroom" in my room. Bathroom is just next my door, it's very convenice for girls. And shower was very hot. House, room and bath were soooo clean. Francesco and his family were also cool people, very friendly and respectful. ...still a lot to say...anyway, I highly recommend this house and room, thoght it didn't close to train station and main sighseeing aera, Bus was quite often and not really far.(I think not more then 10mins bus drive to train station). Definitly worth it!

  • The neighbourhood Le Cure is pleasantly normal. It's also close to Fiesole, a 20 minute busride on nr 7, from a nearby stop. I didn't care much about Fiesole my-
self but left the bus at San Domenico, where the view of the hills is breathtaking.
It's a single road so you could walk downhill and easily find the next stop.

If you stay for more than a couple of days, you can buy a 7days ticket for 18
euro at the Ataf, near the station, and take any bus, minibus or the tram.

The room is big, dark if you want to, and there is no traffic noise. In March I found
it a bit chilly since I forgot to bring a sweater, but it will be perfect for the warm italian summers.

Francesco is a friendly guy, helpfull and he has a lot of information about the city at home.

    It was an interesting stay.

  • It was my 4th stay in Francesco's place. Each time took a week and every time I felt it as home.
Even my Japanese standard it is so clean, very quiet and safe place to stay. Signal of WiFi and shower are strong, two supermarkets are within 10 minute, the bus stop to the Firenze S.M.Novella is 3 minutes away.
It is only 10 minutes bus ride from Firenze S.M.Novella and in a nice residential area. The host, Francesco is a fine gentleman, well mannered, educated, a lover of cooking and cleaning.
I booked his place again for 10 nights in July and 7 nights in August. So my fellow airbnb users, I advise you to do the same.
Just book it, you won't regret it!

Francesco is a super friendly guy who always makes sure you have what you need, he even gave me a lift to the airport at 5 in the morning!! 10 stars and a huge thank you!

  • Francesco was a fantastic host! He's extremely friendly, helpful and polite. I ended up extending my stay to 7 days and I felt very much at home.

The guest house itself is lovely, beautifully decorated, clean and has a well equipped kitchen which was great and made the whole stay even more homely. Francesco gave me lots of useful advice about Florence and even dropped me off at a local mall. Highly recommended!!
