Lake view lodge was the perfect setting for a peaceful get away. The pictures on the website don't do it justice. Ken was very helpful and had great local knowledge- the guide left in the flat was very informative. He let us use his lobster pot ( we caught 2 blue swimmer crabs) as well as his kayak. All around a great time was had and we would recommend it to friends. Thanks Ken.
Great place to stay. Close to the beach and to Forster. The house had everything we needed for a weekend away from the rat race of Sydney. Ken was great to deal with and really quick with responses to questions. Their café next door is not to be missed. Thanks for a great weekend.
Very nice place to stay. The house was comfortable and had a great book of places to see. The location was great and was only 10 mins to Forster but it felt like it was a long way away at the same time. Would stay again.
We had a great time at the Lodge. The place was clean and well maintained and we just loved the big kitchen and the lake views. Not much to do in the area which left us plenty of time to cook and relax. The hosts were great, coming to check that all was ok and inviting us to their little cafe next door where we had excellent coffee and cake. Well recommended.
Great location for visiting the area and very quiet. Three good bedrooms and although single bathroom it had a separate toilet so worked fine. Fully equipped with good BBQ. Views from front terrace over lake were great in the evenings. Only complaint would be WIFi which was shared and hence weak. Only really worked on the deck so a bit of a pain. Owner, Ken and his wife helpful and live next door.

About the Host, Ken
I run this property with my wife Cathy. We are both keen travellers and endeavour to enjoy one big trip every year. Despite the urge to travel I love living in this beautiful part of the world and enjoy the great outdoors, especially mountain biking, running, swimming and the occasional surf.
We run a small cafe and retail outlet next door to the property where we have created a loyal following for our unique gifts and coffee.
Can't live without:
Great coffee, my bike, a good home cooked meal, a book and of course my significant other!
