Queen bed in bedroom and a queen size (larger than most!) futon in the living room.
There's an Amazing beach is right outside your back door.

There may be construction taking place at the front of the building, but this unit is at the back of the building, pretty far from the construction, so once inside it doesn't seem to bother guests. There are also construction materials stored at the back of the building.
Best neighborhood, South of Fifth Street (SOFI).
This is a quiet neighborhood directly on the ocean, very close to great restaurants, shopping, parks, large supermarket, night clubs etc.
Only 2 blocks to world famous Ocean Drive restaurants and tourism spots. Also great shopping like Armani Exchange, Ralph Lauren, Kenneth Cole, Diesel, True Religion, Gap, Zara etc.
Very close to the new Perez Art Museum.
Large screen Sony Internet capable TV with over 100 cable TV channels.
Ipod stereo dock
Cooking utensils, silverware
Bed linens, towels, beach chairs
Metered street parking all around and several parking lots and garages within 1 or 2 blocks of apartment.
Only 15 minutes from the Miami Airport (though a bit longer when there's traffic).
2 blocks to famous Nikki Beach restaurant/beach club, and also famous Joe's Stone Crab, Prime 112 (where the Miami Heat basketball players and celebrities hang out) and a bunch of other incredible restaurants (some expensive, others reasonable). I'll be happy to make recommendations!
This is a legal, short term rental, so you can relax and enjoy your vacation.
Many rentals offered in South Beach are in buildings that only allow 1 year rentals!
Please inquire about holidays and special event rates.
About the neighborhood, from NY times article:
"South of Fifth has emerged as the most expensive section of Miami Beach. A string of high-rise condos along the water, which were at the center of the struggle over the city’s development 15 years ago, are selling apartments for record prices.
Last year, a penthouse at one of two Continuum towers sold for $25 million, then the highest sale for an apartment in Miami Beach. In late December, a penthouse at the neighboring Icon tower sold for just under $21 million, a record for a bay-facing apartment in the city.
More than a dozen restaurants, including several considered the most exclusive in Miami Beach, have opened in the neighborhood, which is also home to the 18-acre South Pointe Park."
Interaction with Guests
We are available by cel phone and email (and airbnb) all the time.
The best neighborhood in South Beach!
Quiet residential section where you can meet your neighbors, but all the crazy action is just 2 blocks north on the same street (Ocean Dr)
Many multi million dollar apartments are right next door (up to $15 and $25 million for single apartments!)
Buses and taxis everywhere.
Great bike rental program (Deco Bikes)
Also free shuttles that run all around South Beach, they look like big golf carts and are usually playing music, just call one over!
They do appreciate a couple of bucks for a tip.

Ted is a great host. Answered all my questions promptly. I liked the apt and location, which was accurately as the picture and as the description.
Ted was very responsive to our needs and accomdating. Apartment was exactly as described and the location could not have been better. We had a wonderful time and hope to return again. Thank you!
Ted's place was everything we were looking for! The pictures and description are all accurate. We enjoyed the pool and loved being able to walk down to the beach in 2 minutes! The location was absolutely perfect! Walgreens, Starbucks, and a liquor store were all within walking distance. We were also able to walk to Nikki Beach and many of the restaurants/bars on the strip to the right if you are leaving Ted's place. We went into downtown Miami a couple times and were able to get Ubers easily and quickly. They were never too expensive, either. Getting to and from the airport was quick and easy. Ted answered my emails/messages within minutes during our time there. Yes, there is construction, but it did not impact us in any way. All in all, this experience could not have been better for our Miami getaway! (:
We had an absolute blast at our stay at Ted's apartment! The location, building, and apartment were as described - no surprises! Nice and clean. No bugs. Nothing out of the ordinary. Check in was hassle-free. Wifi, appliances, tvs, air condition - everything worked great! Sofa/beds in the living room folded out and were very comfortable! Bed was comfortable as well! It was 3 non-related adults staying in there, and I think 4 would have been just a little too much. But a for a family with kids, I think it would accomodate. Room had dishes, silverware, most everything we needed for our short stay! Even had beach towels and chairs for us to use. The pictures were accurate to what we experienced in real life! Step out of the gated pool area and you're about 30 steps from South Beach! We did not need a rental car, took UBER and TAXIS or walked everywhere. We were a bit noisy, but Ted was very nice about it. Apparently, there was construction/renovations going on at the same time as our stay but I never heard it. All in all, this was exactly what I needed and though it was my first Airbnb rental experience , this experience alleviated all my worries and concerns about using the service for the first time and next year when I return for vacation, I will most likely request this apartment again! Thanks Ted!
It's nice to know you had such a good time staying at our place!
Thanks for being such a great guest and taking the time to write such a detailed review.
Happy to hear that your first experience with Airbnb was such a positive one at our apartment, do come back soon!
Ted was very available to answer questions we had. There was a problem with the fridge which he addressed very promptly.
Dealing with Ted was excellent. Always quick to respond and on hand when needed.
Apartment was as described. Great location, all the amenities you need, good wifi and probably the best toilet paper I've ever experienced! So soft!! Bed was comfy too!
The apartment was great! Ted made our trip very easy and was accommodating of our travel plans. He was very quick to respond to small inquiries we had. The place was clean, comfortable, and had a great view! We really enjoyed our stay, especially the pool and the proximity to the beach and Ocean Drive restaurants, nightlife, and shops.

About the Host, Ted
I'm a South Beach local of 20 years.
I love it here and I'm happy to be able to help others experience my paradise!
I'm a total music fanatic, eclectic taste ranging from Dire Straits to Killing Joke, lately some Florence and the Machine, M83 and other "underground mainstream" (if there is such a thing)
Like to play drums and design sounds when I can, mostly Industrial.
Reading Stoic Philosopher Seneca lately (you should check him out!), and the bible always.
Love watching a good foreign film (even a mediocre foreign film for that matter, over a domestic one).
Favorites include "Kontroll" (Hungary), "Dogs Will" (Brazil) "City of Men" and "City of God" (definitely Brazil) "Bibliotheque Pascal" (Hungary)(I'm beginning to notice a pattern here)
When I get my own act together enough I want to operate an orphanage in an appropriate third world city to give some kids a chance at a nice life.
Trying my best to live spiritually while keeping one foot in the material world.
Restore motorcycles for fun and ride a Ducati Monster pretty much every day.
Novice videographer with large aspirations, barriers to entry just disintegrated!
Not in it for the money, so I can't go wrong.
I enjoy visiting the Caribbean and South America to keep things in perspective. Helps one realize how much we have while also reminding how little it takes for people to be happy.
My life motto would be "What's Next?"
