  • Great location, clean, comfy and very well lit! Walking distance to old city and good restaurants in the neighbourhood. Hosts were very responsive and accommodating. Parking space at the unit was a big perk. I highly recommend staying here and hope to return!

  • First of all, this apartment is almost directly adjacent to the charming thoroughfare, Emek Refa'im, the main street in the German Colony (Moshavah Germanit) in Jerusalem.
Although you have to climb stairs to reach the apartment, Maayan has renovated this apartment with new bath facilities, lighting, tiling, etc. There is "Yes" satellite television and wifi -- good water pressure in the shower, etc. The apartment is spacious (by Israeli standards) and bright with walls of windows...yet semiprivate as well. He is very nice and careful -- leaving us clean linens, flowers, chocolates and a clean apartment. (oh sorry, everyone will expect flowers and chocolates).
Of course we left everything clean when we left as well.
Not only will we consider staying there again next time but we will refer our friends there as well!
    Thanks so much!

  • Maayan was a great host - always available and helped a lot organizing the trip. The apartment ist really nice a and well equiped with kitchen, fridge etc. The location is great surrounded by restaurants and close to a bus station. Walking to the old city takes about 30 minutes.

  • We had a great stay at Maayan´s place. It was confortable, clean, cozy and very central. The area is amazing, with coffee shops, stores and bus stops connecting everywhere. I would definetively recommend this place to anyone looking to stay in Jerusalem in a quite, yet central and trendy location.
As for the host, although we couldn´t meet in person, Maayan was very thoughtful and caring for us while our whole stay. We had everything we needed and more.

  • The apartment was excellent -- modern, comfortable, well-equipped, very clean, extremely convenient location. Maayan was the perfect host -- he met us at check-in and explained things and responded almost instantaneously to any questions via text/email. We stayed for two weeks and can highly recommend this place to others.

  • The apartment is ideally located in the upscale German Colony area of Jerusalem, and a short walk down the alley to Emek Rafaim, one of the "hottest" streets in Jerusalem. The apartment is as described, although I was puzzled about the location of the clothes dryer which was in a corner of the living room, and unfortunately we had some problems with the dryer-it flipped the circuit breaker on a regular basis while trying to dry the clothes-Maayan planned on fixing it, but unfortunately he was taking care of it the day we left.
As for everything else, we had plenty of hot water (not always consistent in Israel), and we used the kitchen for a couple of meals and everything worked well there. The wifi/internet connection was very strong. Also, we were most pleased to avail ourselves of free parking that was available for the apartment-very important in Jerusalem. Other than the dryer issue, we very much enjoyed our stay at Maayan's apartment. One last comment, as described, the apartment is on the third floor with no elevator, so be prepared-great exercise.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this beautiful apartment. It is very close to many excellent restaurants and shops and about a 20 minute walk to the old city. The convenience of having a parking space was fantastic.
Maayan was a gracious host and we would most certainly stay in this flat again. Our only regret was that we didn't stay longer in Jerusalem.

  • We had an excellent time in Maayan's place, which is a very nice apartment with a beautiful view over a hill of Jerusalem. She provided us with all necessary information before our arrival and also while being there. Although we never met, I felt perfectly comfortable with her and the apartment.

  • Maayan's apartment was clean and neat and in an ideal location. I would definitely recommend staying there, and will do so myself in the future.

  • Very nice place. Maayan and his wife are absolutely nice people as well (always available for any information or request). We had everything we could need for us and for our 9 months old baby. The appartment is very clean and perfectly equipped for a family stay. Situation in the lovely area not far from the old city is an additional point. We will definitely keep it in mind for our next stay in Jerusalem.
