Interaction with Guests
I work full time, and will be in the home during my off hours.
Working class friendly neighborhood. People are very down to earth and friendly. I feel completely safe, day or night. I have lived in this house, rented it, and had guests through airbnb. It is in a great walkable location. My favorite thing is how user friendly it is. I often walk to the riverfront park, 2 blocks away. There is also a private pool club that has allowed visitors to have a day pass for aprox. $12 per visit. This is also 2 blocks away. Many people enjoy the seafood restaurant along the Delaware River in Pennsville. There is an outdoor bar in warm weather that has a wonderful Caribbean feel, and the large indoor restaurant is at the far edge of the park mentioned above.
The town connects NJ to Delaware via the Delaware Memorial Bridge. Delaware is a tax free state and is only 13 minutes via car. If you like more ethnic restaurants, that is the place to go. 20 minutes drive to the Hope Creek/ PSEG locations.
I believe you would be best with a car, but bus transportation is avail. There is a bus stop 3 blocks down Union Street, and stops across from the Wawa Convenience Food Store.
Other Things to Note
The neighbors are very friendly, but can be nosey. I would suggest limiting conversation to hello and goodbye. If they ask you can say you are a friend visiting from out of town.
I often get requests for one night stays. Of course, any amount of nights you wish to stay is acceptable. The price minimum is for one weeks stay. Thank you for understanding.
smoking outside only.
