The apartment is on the 2nd and third floor of a 2 apartment building. The 2 bedrooms and bathroom are on the top floor. It has a very large kithchen, 2 sundecks, 50” TV, internet wireless. The parking space is just behind the apartment.
This contemporary, Zen-designed, one-bedroom apartment was featured in Decormag as: "A Perfect Urban Retreat."
Surrounded by windows, it is sure to provide its guests with a sense of freedom in the big city and a spectacular view of Montreal.
The kitchen is equipped with high-end appliances, sure to please the most discriminating gourmets... perfect for entertaining your guests. Downtown Montreal, large condominium 3 1/2 all furnished and equipped for rent. For short or long term. Ideal for professional.
The closest thing to a European neighborhood square you'll find this side of the Atlantic, Square St. Louis is nestled in Montreal's Latin Quarter near the university and the fashionably bohemian Plateau neighborhood. Indeed, singer and poet Leonard Cohen is rumored to own one of the picturesque townhouses that line either side of the long rectangular park.
A classic Victorian fountain is the centerpiece of the park, along with an old gazebo with a small selection of snacks. It is said to be favorite haunt of writers, painters and filmmakers seeking artistic inspiration, but on a sunny day everyone in the neighborhood seems to be there, making it a true town square. The major attraction are plentiful benches, where you can relax, meet your neighbors or just watch as the world passes by.
Near all events including Jazz Festival and Grand Prix activities. Located between the bistro's and boutiques of Saint Denis Street and the chic restaurants and nightlife of Saint Laurent Boulevard.
Once you walk out of the building you will find the major intersection of Duluth and St-Denis Street Just up the street to your right. There’s a big wine store there.
Along St-Denis Street you will find great restaurants and shopping; two of
the closest, which we love, are the Café Cherrier (breakfast).
To your left you will see a pedestrian street called Prince Arthur (look for
the our Restaurant, Bistro Les Deux Gamins - a great place for afternoon
cocktails (if it's sunny, of course) and there's always great food and live
French singers on Friday and Saturday nights. On Prince Arthur, you can find
two convenience stores (depanneur in French); one small one in the first
block, and a larger one with more food items two blocks further (both on the
north side of Prince Arthur).
Fantastic location close to all of Montreal's delicious restaurants and cool shopping, with a short metro ride or walk to downtown! We stayed at this charming 4th floor one bedroom apartment for 10 days in May and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Working with Tim was very easy as he has a comprehensive information sheet that he sends out prior to arrival. He was very prompt with responses to text messages/Airbnb messages regarding the internet password and getting a second set of keys. No personal interaction was required during the stay, as the keys remain in a lock box in the lobby for the renter to pick up on the day of arrival, and to leave there on departure. We really appreciated feeling as though the space was our own. It has a well equipped kitchen and a nice space for hosting dinner parties and guests (which we did on several occasions). The only complaint we have is that the bedroom wall is extremely thin - we could hear everything from the apartment bedroom next door, including the alarm that went off most mornings at 5 am and could go on for a good half hour to an hour. Aside from this, though, our stay was wonderful. We would come back again!
