  • The kids say "awesome." There were animals and it was fun to be in a log cabin. House near many ski experiences. We enjoyed our stay. We can't wait to visit during the summertime.

  • This was our 2nd year staying at the cabin and had such a wonderful time! Perfect location in between our 2 destinations for the weekend - and just the perfect 'Pocono" house! - Thanks again!

  • Great cabin and a wonderful experience!!

The kitchen could have been more clean and there is no fireplace, but overall it was a wonderful time. It should be noted that the swimming pool and the hot tub are not next to the cabin, but rather next to the main house and of course close through the winter.

  • The Poconos Cabin was an excellent retreat for my friends and me. There were 7 of us, and all but one of us had a bed, and the one without a bed had a cozy couch. We spent much of the time cooking, or else wandering around the zoo grounds, which were gorgeous and exotic. Lucky for us, we got a blizzard during one of our wanderings.

If it were summer, we would have been all over the volleyball and basketball courts, in the pool and hot tub, grilling outside. But as a winter retreat it was a beautiful place, and I would happily stay again.

  • Nice house, cute animals, and good location for our crew. Could have been cleaner and the key drop off could have been organized more clearly.

  • My husband, puppy, and I had a wonderful stay. The mama donkey and her baby the closet animals to the cabin itself, and are surprisingly friendly. They will will walk right up to you and demand head scratches! The cabin itself is warm and friendly with very comfortable furniture. The kitchen is well stocked with plates, dishes and more than a few spices.

This was the perfect place to go for a quick get away.

  • I stayed here with my husband and 2 boys and another couple and their 2 kids. My son (4ys) was excited to stay in a real log cabin, loved the animals, and enjoyed being able to play all day with his friend. I went for a run one morning and saw at least 8 wild deer -- that's not including the ones penned. The animals are really neat to see. The donkey had a baby that was 5 days old. And at night you can hear some animals howling, probably coyotes. I think the ostriches were my favorites.

The pool and jacuzzi were a great bonus. And we took advantage of the outdoor grill each night. Unfortunately the dryer wasn't working, and clean sheets were in short supply. But Frank was very apologetic for the inconvenience.

We would definitely stay here again.

  • Frank has a wonderful place, everything was provided for us. The pool is at the main house which is only a 3-4 min walk. Everything was ready for us when we arrived, and Dan (the housekeeper) was very friendly and answered any questions we had.

  • Our stay here was thoroughly lovely. The cabin was spacious and comfortable, yet cozy, and the outdoor country setting was beautiful and bucolic. Interacting with the many different animals, both farm animals and exotic species, was interesting and fun. (Each had their own temperament, and some were very adorable!) The walk to the pool was a short and pleasant one. The onsite contact/groundskeeper, Dan, was very helpful and nice.

  • Stayed here with my family - 2 young girls. We came for a few days R&R after a hectic USA holiday and it was just perfect for that.

Only negative: The lodge could have been a bit cleaner.

It's very secluded and private which was great because we let the kids run all over the place unsupervised and my wife and I could just relax by the lake.

There's a treehouse that Frank doesn't mention that was the highlight for the girls. They lived in there for 4 days solid.

The pool (heated) and hot tub is at the main house a short walk away but there was nobody staying there when we stayed so it was as good as our own.

The Fun Station (about 7 miles away) offers a great night out for the family - mini golf, bumper cars, and good food.
